36mg dangerous?

Hello all,

as stated in my other posts I vape on a Puresmokers Ace KR808D-1. It is good and all. Don't want to start an opinion-fest here so forget the PV for this post.

I ordered some eliquid in 36mg nicotine level. It is MUCH harsher than the 18mg that was supplied in the starter kit. It almost hurts to vape and I cough sometimes. I smoked a pack and some a day and figured I would need the added nicotine.

Is it dangerous to continue vaping 36mg as a chain vaper? I know thats ALOT of nicotine and most people use it to mix with other flavors.

I hope not 'cause that's what I vape much of the time. You're going to be hard pressed to hurt yourself vaping 36mg (it might not be possible). Way before that you should get symptoms of mild overdose. The runs, headache, difficulty breathing, racing heart, etc. If you do, drink lots of water. Nicotine passes through the body quickly. It might not be possible to ingest enough nicotine to hurt yourself by vaping. Drinking the liquid (like a good sized bottle) would be a different situation.

If the 18 satisfied you, why would you use 36?
Keep in mind that nicotine is a poison.
I smoked 2 packs a day for 35 years and stopped smoking with the 18mg carts that came with it. Pick up some PG or VG and cut it until you find the level that works for you.

Sorry, but NO ONE can tell you what is too much.
Every human body is different.
some can handle (and actually need) the higher doses of nicotine.
Some do not.

Only YOU can decide what is too much.

Pay attention to what your body says.
if it hurts, then yes it's too much.

Doctor says, "Well, don't do that then"

Your body should tell you when it's too much with fair warning before you do any damage to yourself.

I agree. I use 24mg. but like 18mg. the best (just too lazy to mix) and when I took a puff of an analog, to test it, it was like smoking air. I know i'm getting enough nic at 18mg.

Easy fix so you don't waste your 36mg-Get some PG from wal mart and dilute the 36 with it. It WILL cut the flavor down but it's better than wasting the bottle of 36mg.

For full flavor that would indicate 18-24 mg. so you should not chain vape 36, you could probably get away w/ 16mg. chain. So you need to take it easy w/ 36. There are some who could do 36 chain.

It sounds like it is too much for you. Might want to cut it down like mentioned above.

I had to chain vape 36mg to kill my cravings when I first started. But half of one of my old cigs made most smokers dizzy when they bummed one. (Only had one person ever bum a second one.)

Like the others have said, listen to your body. It knows what it needs better than your mind does.

I am new, and received my first order of vg based liquids yesterday. For whatever reason, I ordered 36 mg as well. My analogs are full flavors and I smoked 3/4's pack weekdays, pack on weekends (I say "are" because there is almost a full pack in the cupboard yet but I haven't had one yet today and don't plan to). I am doing ok on the 36 mg so far. Not sure what it means to chain vape and not sure how to describe quantity vaped but would say it's about 16 drops so far today. I find myself wanting more than I'm doing but I'm trying to be cautious thinking that the effect will come on slower than the analogs but doing ok. Missing the instant state of Bliss. More to the point and maybe someone already said this...the company I ordered my liquid from advised to order another set of the same flavors at a lower nic level and mix them to cut nicotine but not flavor so I have 18mg coming - could be an option for you too if the 36 isn't working for you.

chain vaping (in my opinion) is the same as chain smoking. where as smoking it would be one cig after another after another. Thats how I smoked. I would smoke 3 cigs in a row. L&M, Marlboro, KOOL, it didn't matter. Thats why I got 36mg because with 18mg flavor was awesome but I didn't feel much. Didnt want a cig but my body wanted more and more. Now with 36mg its lost its flavor and its like a painful kick of nicotine that burns my throat.

and are there any ratios for this? like 1/2 cup PG 1tsp 36mg nic flavor?

If you want it back at 18, you cut it in half.
1 Part 36MG liquid to 1 Part VG

But you probalby want 24 MG, a nice inbetween...
So try 2/3

2 Parts 36MG liquid to 1 Part VG


This IS going to decrease the flavor as well...

So maybe try smaller amounts of VG to begin with, and add more as needed/desired.

I think you just kind of have to find your sweet spot via trial and error. My first liquid order varied from 18-36mgs and I found that for me, 24mg was just right, but for my friend who had nearly exact smoking habits, 36 was where he needed to start. It really depends on the person, I guess.

so yeah walmart doesnt sell Glycerin or Propelyn Glycol (probably spelt that wrong) they dont even know what it is. Its not over in diet/pills/pharmacy and its not in the baking section.

I'm finding 36 gives me a slight headache, so I cut it in half with pg and some more flavoring...now I have double what I started with.

I keep some 36mg on hand for those moments when I have serious nic cravings - like after a great meal with a cup of coffee or while I am enjoying a few beers or cocktails; I guess for those rare moments when I'm missing the analogs...

Yes, it's in the cosmetics section.
I've never bought it before, but that's where everyone always says it is.
