thats what I was thinking.. cut them flush, and even can put a clear glass bubble on top of them so they "look" like LED, but bunched up different colors inside the bubble. If that makes sense?

You would have to get different colored LEDs inside to do that tho... You could probably get that effect by just putting a multicolored filter behind the cap on a white LED bat a lot easier, Unless of course you mean to do this on a mod you make yourself. I just wanted to swap out the light on a standard 901 or 510 batt :D

These aren't the best pics, not sure if they'll do any good. To be the top with the led looks to be glued in. The first pic is the inside with the protective covering.

if this 1 was clearer, it might b helpful - can you see anything that would go from the positive end of the battery to ground before the atty? or also check between the contacts of the connector to the atty and gently go around that crack w/ the eye of a needle and make sure u don't get juice or gunk from between there - those would be my suggestions right now.

I can't get it any clearer, the auto focus on my phone is fighting me and my shakes. I honestly can't see anything past the battery contact. I would probably have to take the whole thing out to see. I'm gonna have to do it, but need to figure out a safe way so i don't damage it.

Thank you for trying to help. What crack were you suggesting to use a needle for gunk?

as far as taking it apart, it has to go together somehow and that's the way to take it apart.

but check the battery connector (the part you screw the atty onto) if u drip, or the atty leaks for whatever reason it can get in that crack between the center connection and the outer connection and cause a short and it can build up over time - ppl have sent me a good few "dead" batteries where i just cleaned the connectors and they're fine out of like 8 i've recieved i've resurrected 5

So earlier today I put my roomba in the kitchen.
One of my cats was in there eating, and the roomba turned around and charged into my cat, scaring the crap out of her so that she spilled her food bowl. This triggered the roomba's dirt detector and it promptly "ate" all her food. It was hilarious.

what the heck is a roomba?

Clever! Digging up dirt so to speak! I never saw that coming. Where can I get me a tin hat?

You have to make your own. But make sure and get the tin foil that has not been treated w/ anti-alien message spray. It won't work.:glare:

BTW, I have several aluminum foil hats, and the just don't work as well. Best to stick to the tried and true.
