I think there is definitely a subtle difference here as well, and may be difficult to discern for some.

This isn't the stock market. This isn't Ebay. This isn't Craigslist. I get weary of having the capitalist screed trotted out here.

This is a community of vapers/friends/neighbors/acqaintances who are joining together to quit analogs and help others quit analogs, and enjoy themselves, learn, and make new friends in the process.

If somebody needs to engage in actual profiteering within this kind of community, I do think it's rather borderline----- distasteful.

There are just places and circumstances where we don't DO certain things, like curse in church or something, you know, there are just certain *behaviors* that aren't appropriate in certain settings.

Profiteering in the ECF classies would be one such setting --- I think the behavior within it's walls just doesn't "fit". Not in good taste, anyway.

I'm sorry but I laughed out loud at classifieds being where members help other members, it's where people help themselves. It's actually hard to help other people in the classies. If you try to list something as a good deal with the intention of getting it to people who don't have a ton of pv's or are just starting out, you still get pm'd by people with a $1000 worth of stuff in their sig.

As for limited editions...I just don't care enough about purchasing one to be offended. If you have a place to sell things, people will try to make money in it. People will also buy things at silly prices. You also lose that community vibe for the most part when your forum reaches a certain size. I'm not advocating it but I wouldn't have expected this to be any different.

These poor children don't even realize that it is all a conspiracy by some devil to trap poor souls into an eternal pit of HELL. How do we open their eyes and make them realize that the iHybrid is actually the Mark of the Beast?
