ok. i don't want to seem petty or anything because i don't think for a noob i could have chosen a better starter ecig then the 510. but, it's been a few weeks and now that i'm familiar with its limitations i'd like to share with you fine people what it is that i think
everything about the 510 is incredible, and by that i mean that its limitations are pretty incredible as well. when buying the 510 you get a yin-yang sorta thing, and to me they sum up why i get disappointed with using this style of ecig (i really want to move away from saying ecig).
first, i love the vapor production. but once the battery begins to wear the amount of vapor decreases.
second, i love the throat hit. ditto on the battery statement above.
so far, i've lucked on the atty's. not a problem.
i don't mind the amount of ejuice burnt up because i am a heavy hitter.
thus, my biggest, and probably only, gripe about the 510 is the battery. because of its limitations i'm not going to get the consistency i require to be totally off analogs. realizing i have to buy more batteries, atty's and a passthrough, i also don't want to get too involved in harvesting parts when that money could be spent on stockpiling eliquid (36 mg).
so i know i've got to move up to one of the more powerful models that use batteries holding a charge far longer. i also will most likely buy an iolite because of their versatility (very important if there are dark days ahead).
lastly, i'm not attracted to the kensington power pack because the whole set up seems to begin to take over. i'm not in this to serve my addiction as if its a space-age fashion statement or looks like i'm strapping on the cathater from hell.
i love my 510, and i love ecigs in general, i just hate their limitations (not to mention what the feds are trying to do8-o) thanks.
