510 in the AVS

Hope, with the adapter you use, how high does the 510 sit in the AVS reservoir?
11mm up Krom. Maybe I got lucky but mine seems to be working very well only issue is if you have the top tight it will undo the atty removing the top, easy to fix though or loosen the mouthpiece. There is no perfect size hole etc as each AVS acts a little bit differently plus throw in random attys etc. Just have to have a go and see what each person is happy with.
Yep, not doing it up too tight and a little shimmy side usually helps if the lid grabs the atty. Cheers mate.
I'm talking about the 510 cartomisers, the ones I have are 3.6 cm from top till where the threads start, so it sticks well out of the tank when screwed onto an adapter and into the tank... so I had to use drip tips wtih em.
Regular 510 atomisers work fine, the total length with an adaptor is about the same as a 901 atomiser +/- 1mm

Guys, I received today the 901-510 adapters and I tried one of them on AVS. I dont see the reason of a modification. My 510 works fantastic on AVS. The thing I notice is that it works even better than the 901!!
ps.... I vape with it only 5 mins now. Its a 2,1 ohm atomizer and I tried it at 6 v olts and at 3,7 volts. It vapes exellent on both volts. I will keep you updated

The biggest prob I have with using an adapter is you're still left with a fair bit of unused juice in the AVS when it's time to refill.
That means that you use the 510 without modification and it works exellent VP, am I correct?
If the problem is that you cant use all the liquid inside AVS then we can make a 510 adapter for AVS but we have to make an extension for 510 atomizer so it will reach the top refilling cap of AVS like the 901 does VP
Correct, there are however mega 510 attys available that are the same length as a 901 minus the threads so if using those you'd only need an adapter to raise the atty 5mm.
The length of the mega 510 minus the 510 threads is exactly the same as a 901. If you had an att connector piece the same as the existing one on the bottom of the AVS except having it threaded for a mega 510 it would need to be exactly 5mm high so once the atty is screwed into it it would match the height of the 901 if you follow my meaning. I can take pics of the mega 510 next to a 901 if you would like, that might make it clearer?

if it matched the height then the air holes on he 510 wouldn't be inside the tank with the juice, would it?
Like I said you'd only need a threaded atty connecter a few mm high inside the AVS for it to work, it'd actually work better than a 901 imo.
Funny because I have to Mod my adapter to work and mod it exactly right for it to work too
Is your adapter identical to mine? One of the guys I sold a 901-510 adapter too had the same thing, no mod required but did leave juice in the tank I believe. What about some think like a slotted plastic washer at the bottom?
