Most (likely all) of these people are using THC bought off the street, cut with something else. I've seen no sign that normal vapers need to worry about it.

But the bad press will never end.

And ECF picked a horrible time to go pro THC vaping.
Kind of agree ... a couple weeks ago, if one were confronted with someone conflating ecigs and drug use, one could say "hey, the largest e-cigarette forum in the world doesn't even allow drug discussions" ... not anymore.

I just see Very Little that can be Gained by it now.

And I think the Multi-Millions that would be Required would be Much Better Spent in other Areas.
They are getting away with this because of the propaganda they have spread to the general public. A good PR effort would change that in my opinion. Most people out there STILL think that vaping is a product, that the hospitalizations and deaths are from nicotine and that vaping nicotine is worse than smoking cigarettes.

You say "other areas". What other areas would that be? To grease the palms of the politicians like big tobacco/big pharma does? Well, I would think it would take significantly more than anything we could come up with.

It's kind of a controversial topic and has been for many years, I applaud ecf for trying to make sure vapers understand the principles and problems to do with vaping thc, where else would you get the knowledge, remember a lot of people are trying to elevate health conditions with thc, its just the minority who don't research that's the problem

A good PR Campaign can do Wonders. No Argument here. Just look at how Effective the PR Campaign has been against e-Cigarettes.

But waging a PR Campaign to Counter a Currently Successful PR Campaign is another matter.

Because you Only have so many Fingers. And if there are More Holes in the Dike than Fingers on your Hand, well, all that Money you just Spent just does down the Drain.

And the simple adage that Anyone who followed the Cola Wars learned very quick is... "If you Can't Out Spend them, you have Already Lost."

---

As for "Better Areas"... The Primary and Paramount would be in Legal Defense and Challenges.

It takes a Lot of Money to Win in our Legal System. And in 236 Days or so the ENTIRE e-Cigarette market is going to be Turned Upside Down.

I'd much rather see the Multi-Millions needed to wage a Hearts n' Mind National PR Campaign spent on (and you are Rarely going to here me say this) Lawyers and Lawsuits.

Well there you go, we the sane vapers are going to get hit on whatever happens and media is taking its toll, just today while out and about enjoying the sunshine I went for a beer, sat in the beer garden drinking and having a vape when a woman came over and said "you are not allowed to smoke drugs here "I tried explaining to no avail and walked away.
I don't think we in the UK will have an happy ending, I can see the lobbyists going for a flavour ban eventually, I've said before that vaping gets picked on ,the powers that be allow stinkies that cause untold deaths, it's all about money
So do they allow smoking cigs in that area?

I don't want to see vape shops go under. Even if it becomes a different market or a dual market. You would not BELIEVE the number of vape shops in Tucson, some of them and their prices HAVE to be laundromats. Also, if you don't think you won't get sold a Smok product after being vetted properly and whatnot, I would be QUITE surprised. It's really easy to "Sell" "vape products' of any sort with some sort of receipt.

In fact, I would probably urge new vapers to head to Tucson, it's really probably a good shot for some actual NICOTINE eliquid.

Also, who vapes OUTSIDE IN THE REAL WORLD ANYMORE? Holy crud, NOT me. I got no use for that. I vape in my home, and my car. I am seriously reconsidering my car.
