8.9 Earthquake in Japan and Tsunami's in the south China Sea

Of course there is no news out of China regarding the affects of the events, but i imagine that they aren't having a good day either.

It is horrifying to see all of this damage in Japan. And scary. The news said there was over 30 aftershocks and now CNN is reporting a 2nd earthquake. I think this will effect many countries, not just Japan.

It happened on the east side of the island, so the tsunami went out over the Pacific. But I read that they felt it in Beijing, and there was a quake on the border of China and Myanmar. But, there have been an incredible number of aftershocks above 5!

I had a gf from Yokohama. I pray that she and her family are safe. I didn't hear about a second earthquake unreal! After shocks of +5 not good.
