Just wondering if anyone figured a way to get better airflow to the 801 on the xhaler without purchasing the adapter, as I figure shipping anything right now is not an option with christmas around the corner.

Best you can do is take a thin file to the bottom of the atty and cut 4 groves into it and hope for the best. The air flow will have to fight its way up the threads into the bottom hole of the atty. Its either that or go buy the smallest drill bit you can find and drill 2 small holes high up on the threads of the atty.

Either way, make sure to cover up the hole on the bottom of the atty so no metal or whatever gets into the atty while your filing or drilling. I used a drop of hot glue right over the hole.. When your done and have cleaned it up, its easy to just pull the hot glue off with ease.

Oh the other prob is that the pin from the adapter also covers up the hole on the bottom of the atty.. you may get lucky and it will not seal it so some air will pass.

I think Drew said somewhere that he was working on getting the adapter fixed.

I was not getting any airflow using SLB 801's unless I left it a little unscrewed or (what I do now) strip off the airflow cover with a pair of pliers.

I just did this after I also put two notches with a round file, and now it is working like a champ! I had bought a Super 6 (super T) to use my 801 atomizers, and was going to use my xHaler with my cartomizers. Now that the 801 is working properly on my xhaler without any adapters, I think it'll be 801 only from here on out.
