808 / 901 / dripping

Hey folks,

So I believe I have everything I need for dripping. Got my batts, a DSE901 atomizer, drip tips, and juice. I believe thats it yes?

So I tried some dripping. Seems to work good, don't get a whole lot of vapor, but I believe thats due to the juice I'm using (USA Mix from Litecig...got it when I ordered my attys). They dont specify what their ratios are, but the way its hitting i'm guessing its all PG or no more than 90/10. Some other juices from bluemist are on the way and will be trying those soon.

My routine is 3 drips, let it sit for a minute, then a couple hits. Seems like I get around 7 good hits before needing to drip again. Then I do 3 more drips and repeat. Any one doing anything different? (more / fewer drips, etc)?

Sounds good,just make sure you use manual batts and not autos.

+1 to what Ms. Keyzy said. Depending on what size drop you're using Griff sir, 3 drops could food the atty.

Dripping on a 901 is my favorite thing!
Sounds like you're doing it right.
I do HAVE to underscore what the others said. You'll kill an auto battery quick with any leaking.

Later on, if you start to develop leaks, go get one of these:

or
MAP Edition Empire Drip Shield
(or there are some pretty sparkly ones I can't find right now)

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Still working out the startup from a dry atty. The first few hits really burn my throat, but things seem to mellow out as it goes along. I assume thats just the atty / coil not being wet enough after sitting a while?

Alright. Think I wasn't putting enough drops in at first, and it was burning off too quickly. Looked through some old posts, and in the 901 it seems 5-6 drops is a good start. Let it sit for a minute, then vape. Top off with 1-2 when it starts tasting funny.

Much. Getting a nice hit now and flavor is much better.

Now I need to start tweaking some of the juices to get some more vapor. The liquids I have are 80/20, so I will be playing with some VG to try and make some bigger clouds

how long does a typical 901 atty cost? what's a good one that's not horribly expensive? same with carts? can i get some links?

I believe they also have blank (but filled with polyfill) carts for them. I haven't used carts in years, just drip. I don't like the way they feed.

I buy my cartos from Goodejuice, only because it's convenient for me when I buy their juice. There may be better vendors / prices.
