Today we honor the lives and memories of those lost on 9/11, and send thoughts and prayers to all those affected by this tragedy. Despite the grief and challenge of rebuilding, we're proud of the enduring spirit that brought us together as a country to comfort one another and heal.

Do you remember what you were doing on that fateful day? I'd like to know. Post it here.

All up in your grill..
I had already left the area and moved to Virginia. I got a call early in the morning from my mother screaming "they attacked new york! Turn on the tv!" I turned on the news and watched in horror as the media broadcasted live, the second plane hitting it's target.

I was so angry. I came close to trying to enlist. (I am sure I could have never passed the psych or polygraphs anyway) I wanted revenge. I was screaming for it.(I think most of us did)

I was wrong.

The terrorists wanted us to seek revenge. Fat lot of good that did. Now we live in a society where our airline stewards grab our little kids junk for our safety. We promote intolerance of other religions and we have shipped off thousands of our soldiers to die in some desert hell hole. I watched the POTUS wipe his ... with the constitution to the sound of thunderous applause. I was wrong. Man was I wrong.
