Hey guys,

Getting ready to order a BP with the M1A1 tank pretty soon. I planned to use Boge 3ohm cartos in the tank. I want to go with the other than 510 connection to reduce the body to tank gap. Where are you guys running the different connectors getting your cartos? Can you get the Boge 3ohm in a 901, 801 or 808? Everywhere I found them they are wrapped cartos.

Wanna make sure I can get cartos before I do this.

I use the Fusion 801 and it looks great on a BP in a tank. As far as vape goes there is not much difference between the fusion and the boge. Some say the fusion last longer (and it often does but not always, but when it doesn't last longer it lasts the same time) and the Fusions IMHO have a very slightly looser draw which I prefer.

Probably go 808 for minimum tank gap. 801 cartos, at least the fusions (all I use) have the collar at the bottom which provides a gap similar to a 510.

I'd probably go with these 3 ohm ss: IKV MEGA KR-808 Cartomizer Stainless 3.0

I've got a BP with 808 connector, use an Ikenvape gold 808/801 adapter (matches my brass top cap nicely), vape the M1A1 with fusions. There is some gap, tank to top cap, but I find it comfortable, my firing finger at a good position with the drip tip in my mouth.

UHMMMM why do those pics not have your tanks in them MOO! Very disappointing :p

Well I don't want to disappoint! Those photos were taken way back when before there was a phiniac tank! I have always used them as comparison between 510 and 801 as it is a great shot for that

You really think so, I think there is much less of a gap on the 801 fusion with tank compared to the 510 boge with tank. And the little gap there is caused by the collar is worth it as it prevents the tank from slipping down.

For minimum gap the 808 really is it. I vape v4l 808 coolcarts (PITA stripping the wrapper and glue, but a good carto) when I don't have fusions, and the tank is just a couple mm above the top cap, since an 808 carto doesn't have that 1/4" collar. I honestly could have the tank sit on the top cap, but need a little gap for air flow.

808 also provides good versatility for adapters. It's easy to get 901-808/808 (an 808 extender), 808/510, and 808/801, but I haven't yet seen an 801/510, which would shut a person out of trying, for instance, a 510 connector IO6 atty.

Realistically, I normally have an adapter on, since cartos have a lot of variability and I get better consistency on firing with an adapter. But if I really want minimum gap, 808 is where it's at.

That is a good point... I've recently had a need for an 801 to 510 adapter for a little 3.7 volt mod I have and I have not found one. In the end however for my every day vaping needs no matter how many times someone asks me I am always going to say fusions and for my taste the little gap does not bother me and it is a much smaller gap then the 510!

Moo,

Your tanks are spectacular on those BP's!!!! Gorgeous girl!!! I would not have thought that the red/orange tank would look so nice on the Purple BP, but dayum that's hot!!!! ;

Thank you Tracy! We have recently found a purple that is working well. When I get my purple BP back from the Buzz emergency room I will throw one on and some picks! I wish that all the PV's in that photo were my own personal "notcigs" family, but just the woodies, the purple BP and the purple IP are mine. Sadly the rest went back to Cali after the photos were taken!

Mark, Could you post a pic of that 808 setup if possible?

It's only 1 - 2 mm, plenty of gap for the airflow -- remember a classic carto only has a couple of pretty tiny holes through the connector wall. The carto pictured is a stripped V4L cool cart, since I had a bunch of them; buying new I'd likely go for some IKV 3 ohm SS std length 808, what he calls the mega 808 (not the XL).
