901 Mini E-cig Questions

I have read many posts on the forum, and it has me thinking on some questions:

1. I use CaSH 36mg and get less of a buzz than from an ultra light cig, yet I have seen many people saying that would bring them to their knees. Is it the brand I am using or am I just weird?
2. I have to refill my cartridge after every vape session with no less than 4 drops. Why do I go through it so fast?
3. I have watched many how-to vids, but I can never seem to get more than a tiny bit of vapor and it is inconsistent, why?
4. I have to suck really hard to activate the atomizer, and my jaw is killing me! Is there any technique to make the drag easier?
5. One of my 2 atomizers make a bubbles-through-water sound when I take a drag off of it; I have cleaned it out and drained all the fluid but the sound continues.
6. I am trying to find that Holy Grail of a vapor cloud with a high hit of nicotine, any suggestions?

You have to wait for the magic moment when it breaks in. That is the answer for every ecig.
Everything will be fixed when the atomizer burns off the primer fluid.
Also draw lightly on the 901, only enough to light the led.

Yep you need to break it in !

How long does that take? I know there are many variables, but I am looking at days, weeks, or more?

Nope should happen with in a couple days.
Trick is to get the atomizer hot by taking long slow draws. Drip in the atomizer, dont use the carts. After the atomizer breaks in the carts will work better.
No more than 3 drop in the atomizer, smoke it till it gets nasty (the primer is nasty) then repeat.

1. This could be answered in many way which is connected to your questions 3 and 4. You are not getting a buzz from 36mb and not getting the vapor who thought you should, and having to suck really hard to get what you can out of it..

These seem to be all connected.. i first thought would be the atomizer, the device, that causes the vapor and and draws the amount of liquid into vapor and hence your nicotine as well.. if it is not drawing as it should and you have to suck harder for each pull of vapor then there is something wrong.. perhaps something as simple as needing a quick cleaning and or changing cartridge and the cloth holding the liquid.. to something dealing more with the atomizer... i would so this...

if you have another atomizer use it with the same cartridge and battery.. ( also make sure the battery is charged fully ) .. if you are still having the issue with a different atomizer then it is your battery most likely.. less power = less vapor.

I had similar problems at first with my penstyle. Someone suggested not inhaling....just puff it and exhale and see how much smokes comes out. For me, the smoke was there....I just wasn't getting it in. I learned I was inhaling wrong. I actually had to start by inhaling directly to my throat....not stopping in the mouth first. Once I got the hang of that and with some practice, I was able to get a throat hit with some vapor (not a lot like I see some here get, but some). As long as I got the throat hit, I was okay.

I have a much better handle on the inhale now and I have since "graduated" to 36mg...and it works for me as far as taste and hit. I still don't seem to get a lot of vapor but that is okay. And the 36mg is not too much for me....I use it all day. It is also from puresmoker.

I don't know if that helped any but that's how it went for me.

I have 2 complete sets, and interchange all of the parts with the same less-than-desirable effects. I watched the how-to vid made for my 901 and the guy had a huge cloud of vapor, and it looked as though it was after inhaling it -as opposed to holding it in the mouth and then blowing it out which would have even more vapor- and that was what I was hoping for.

I am sure I am just missing some technique or another and have been reading all over the web to figure it out.

I have mastered the lung inhale, but don't find it very satisfying =(

lung inhale is what some call the throat hit...do a search there are some juices that those that miss that feeling have found something close...I miss it sometimes. I find that the penstyle give better flavor and the mini 901 gives more throat hit...

Hey Katson ... didn't even see this thread until just now

Lets see if I can help answer them ...

1. I have never gotten a *Buzz* per say when using even 36mg -- the few times I have. A buzz from a real cig makes me lightheaded, etc... The buzz from an ecig at super strength levels give me a headache and dizzieness.... I use low personally, and I know I am up to my wait in nic when a headache starts to occur. I then remind myself not to overdue it and I give myself a break!

2. Well, how long is your vape session? I get about 10 puffs. per 2 drops (.1ml) So, if you are doing 4 drops each time, depending on how you inhale, I would expect anywhere in the ballpark from 16 - 24 puffs.

3. Just the learning curve really. To get the vapor I get now, it took weeks. Finally after about 3 weeks, I could get the same hit and same vapor each and every time (Assuming all the variables are the same)

4. This question would have been good for me to answer right when you got it. Atomizers these days come with what seems like a ton of priming liquid in them. This makes the draw tough and the vapor weak. The best way to solve is to blow out all the excess liquid in to a napkin until no more liquid comes out. Put in a couple drops of liquid and a fresh cartridge (with strands seperated, not an old reused cart) and start from scratch.

5. Atomizers make all different types of noises. Some whistle, some gurgle, some are completely quiet ... Its the nature of the beast really.

6. No, it really just comes down to nic tolerance. Even though you were smoking ultralights, however many were you going through each and every day? Nic tolerance is alot different in lots of people. What may be overboard for someone and bring them to their knees, my not necessarily to the same to the next person!

Esmoking in general is all about Trial and Error, until you find your *own* holy grail, so to say!

OMG Steve, I blew our both atomizers and wow what a difference! The draw is smooth and the vapor is billowing!

How often should I blow them out? Every night or as needed?

I just received my penstyle from puresmoker and man let me tell u is working awsome. lots of vapor and nice throat hit with low nic cartriges. Hopefully stays this way. I am a very light smoker so hopefully my atomizer last longer than u guys. Thank you steve for your fast shipping and for the extra cartriges By the way this is marco. Thanks again
