A bit disappointed

I was looking forward to upgrading my oddy v1 to v2.
I thought Imeo sent some Odysseus ceramic housing (Presuming v2) and the ceramics (also v2) to his sellers.
I was camping at gg uk for them to list the new stuff he recieved and soon realized Odysseus ceramic housing was not listed at all. I tried emailing them 5 days ago through the website and i got nothing back.
That is hands down poor customer service.


To top up my disappointment e smoke guru still don't have credit card payment... it been like 2 months already..
Does it take that long to setup credit card payment??? I don't think so, or else alot of businesses will be out of business by now.

We need some better international sellers since gg australia is now gone...

I hope i was living in the USA, at less there is a good gg seller there.

I've been buying from e-smokeguru. transferring money the first time takes like 2 mins, and after that (atleast here) the info is stored so i can just click "copy payment" and do another one. It doesnt take long from where my bank sends me a msg that my money has been wired to their bank until they send me a confirmation that the money is recieved and package shipped.

i agree with you pimpe about gg.co.uk, apart from the site messed up are real rude, they do not respond to emails of the (paying) customers.
i made a small order, they did not respond to my e-mail and then provides for the dispatch after a week.

with all the serious sellers and efficient that there are in UK.. why the official reseller is so rude?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only GG reseller worth a damn is Bruce at COV. Cam just doesn't know how to design or maintain a website or even how much basic consumable stock to order and The Greek site will never get a proper payment system in place. If it was me there'd be one reseller for the world and that would be Bruce hands down, the others don't deserve to be resellers imho.

I'm sure both he and Cam are both great guys in RL but unfortunately that only translates to resellers with good intentions not necessarily good resellers.

i remind all of you that golden greek is a european creation, the brilliant mind of imeo is of greek motherland, its production go to be exhausted even only with the local market or perhaps it would not be sufficient to meet the requests of the his compatriots.
the european resellers are important, it is nonsense to buy a european product from usa, for what? pay import taxes? objects disappeared in customs? american people who buy everything and then sell at higher prices?

i find esmokeguru (vassili) very efficient, if the pieces there are not.. there are not, him can do nothing, but his manage in an excellent way the preorder and is very courteous and attentive to the customer, ever.
notice if you make several orders, perhaps on different days, or more pre-orders please note that with the bank transfer you can adjust a single shipment, with credit card or paypal for any order you pay the shipment!

VP, I dont really know why Vassilis hasnt solve the CC payment yet (I am sure its a bank issue) but I know that I finally found a person that works the way I wanted. He reads and answers all e-mails, he is very fast with his shipments and he talks to me at least 1 time per day to see if I am happy with his site and his work.

Bruce on the other hand is a well known gentelman of course and he works as he has to work.

I like Vassilis, he's very polite & very helpful.
Imeo I totally agree with you about vassilis, he's very quick in replying to emails & advising on best way to go about.
Yes maybe he is having difficulties with credit card machine facilities but hopefully he'll be able to get that resolved (I understand it takes time).
Some banks want you to give large deposits & have a certain amount of sales and money coming into the business account before they decide to give you credit card facilities.

I had an issue with transferring money to his bank account as my bank wanted to charge me more for sending money than what the transfer was for, I emailed vassilis, told him the problem & we came up with a different solution.
He replied every time within a few hours of me sending him an email, was very helpful & sincere.

Just wanted to stick up for Cam here. I don't dispute the experiences of others but I have always had e-mails replied to and have been very happy with the service and goods he supplies.

I hope that whatever problems people are having get resolved. I'm sure they will.

I think the problem (at least to me) is that when you buy top quality items, i expect quality also where i buy them. And i think the gg.uk still have potential to reach that quality - particularly what concerns the website. But on the other hand ... who is perfect

Give em time, I'm sure with imeo by their side they'll sooner or later be able to satisfy everyone with their orders

I believe they're all aware of the situation at hand and know there are a lot of GG customers who do need supplies regularly.

On the other hand... This may not be their full time job, they may have other commitments (bills don't pay themselves )

With most people not happy, I do believe that something's probably in the pipeline

I wish them all the best and hope soon they'll be in a position to meet demands of all the customers.

Imeo's pre order idea was the best decision ever for GG fanatics & newbies to the world of GG, hopefully in the near future they'll have one regularly for just spare parts, ie.... On a quarterly basis (which would eliminate the hate towards imeo's suppliers).

I don't envy being in their position as this seems to be a Love - Hate relationship.
