A few months ago decided to do a study on just how many recharges you can potentially get out of them. Still keeping track of every charge on each batt, but designated 4 for heavy use. These batts were charged at least 3 times a day (I'm a very heavy vaper incase no one could tell). Orginally it was 6 batts, but 2 failed due to switch issues so their results can't be included. I'm including Anakin (RIP) as my control group. He was subjected to all types of cycling, so a good water mark for what most people would put their batts through. All batts were manual in regular size, and used wow cartos exclusively on them. Stopped once their run time was below 10 minutes (most people would have stopped long before that, but well....).
Anakin-263 charges
Group 1
This group was deep cycled every time (in other words only recharged upon flashing). One batt was a purple with blue led, the other a gun metal platinum with green led. PB and GG for short.
PB- 212 recharges, by charge number 176 he only would last 2/3 of his previous average (128min vs. 195min), and the last 5 charges were 66min, 51min, 33min, 21min, and 9:30.
GG- 207 total, by charge 164 saw a 60% drop in time (115min vs. 193min), and the last 5 charges were plain abysmal. They were 51min, 39min, 22 min, 13min, and just under 7 minutes...
Group 2
These were never deep cycled, recharged them as soon as I noticed a lack in vapor production. The first one is a chrome with blue led (CB), and the second was a bronze with blue led (BB).
CB- 319 charges. It wasn't until charge number 245 that she lost some time, and it was only 80% (150min vs 188min). It was a dramatic drop off at the end though (which seems to be the way every batt that has died on me for non-switch related issues does). The final 5 times were 61min, 47min, 31min, 19min, and finally 9 min.
BB- 324 charges. This was my longest lasting batt to date. She was a trooper until charge 276, when she lost around 75% of her average time (147min vs. 197min). Her last 5 were 66min, 52min, 38min, 22min, and 8 min on the final go round.
As more batts die will post their final run times and length. What we can see though is a huge gap in lifespan when it comes to deep cycling to recharging before it's dead.
Now my only issue is down to 6 regular manuals, which is the minimum of what I carry on me everyday at work... Don't want to order anymore until the king diamonds and stealth versions are out. Hopefully they hold out that long.... If not, well time to be more careful with refilling....
Hope this helps someone.
