A couple of questions

Heya, thinking of adding a provari to the stable but I have a couple questions.

I have owned a vv from another vendor who shall remain nameless and was very unimpressed. The draw was very stiff and it was extremely finicky with attys / cartos. The mod had to be sent in for repairs the first month after juice leaked into it and fried some of the electronics.

So how is the draw on the provari? I'm assuming it has a sealed connection with no issues? I really want to get another vv but don't want to make another mistake.

Any advice is appreciated

Hi Brian,

The connector on the Provari is about the same in draw as a standard 510 or eGo battery.. It has thus far connected to everything I have.

The head is sealed. And the drip well is pretty deep.

The only drawback I've noticed is the weight. It's hefty. But at the same time it's hard to damage the thing.

Overall it's the best mod I own and the most used. I recommend it highly.

My experience has been that the draw is what you attach to it. I use Boge LR which is the perfect draw for me. I did try a dual coil that was too tight for me to enjoy.

that's right; draw is a function of the atomizer/cartomizer and a very important one imo.
It varies from style of atty/carto and the brand.
If you use carto's my favorite is Iken Fusion.
Attys; try ... oh never mind, there's too many out there and they all have their fans and detractors... it's a subjective thing.

I would disagree completely with this statement. Considering all the different 510 connectors out there (open/closed/recessed), the connector plays a large role in the draw. Not that atties and cartos don't have their characteristics- but the original poster is essentially claiming that a mod he owned changed the draw of an atty compared to another mod. The difference is the socket.

+1 Different connectors give a different draw, finding a good match is the key for me!

The Provari has a nice connector on it with 4 slots cut for air movement, it looks a lot like the slots on the top of the ego-t batts. I leave my ego adapter on my Provari most of the time and haven't had any draw issues with boge or smoktech cartos or EMDCC's. With the ego adapter, I have never found any juice in the juice well of the provari but do find a drop on top of the post

This has been my experience with Boge LR cartos too. Been using one for 4 days already. The DCC's are really nice at first, but the draw stiffens after a few fills. The Boge on the other hand seems very consistent. Now I just need to make a syringe tank for the Boge since its shorter.
