So, I received another e-juice order yesterday and our mail carrier finally commented on the delicious aroma emanating from it. I told her what it was and it turns out that her husband is a 3+ppd smoker who is afraid to try and quit again because of the "screamin' mimi's" he gets when he's tried before. Been there, done that, but it never happened with vaping:)

Last night I put together a starter kit for each of them (she smokes too, but just more socially) and gave it to her this morning with some instructions and my contact info. 2 650 eGos for her and 2 1100 eGos for him with 3 T3 tanks each and 2 extra attys each, chargers, car charger for him and 4 flavors of juice. She was thrilled ;)

Her husband and mine are in the same line of work and both travel on business. My hubby was a ppd smoker and has been analog free for 3 months which I'm hoping will inspire hers. They're going to try it over the weekend and if all goes well we can all sit down and go over some more of the wonderful world of vaping.

I know he's going to need a much stronger e-juice than I have in my stash. We use between 12 and 18mg and I'm thinking he could go 36mg to start? And of course he'll need more and longer lasting batteries to get through the day but at least this will be a start to see if they even like it.

Even though I only started vaping 6 months ago it seems like forever. We moved up to mods fairly quickly so I'm hoping I did the right thing for them. Any tips you may have that I can share with them would be greatly appreciated.

Keep a good thought :vapor:

Very nice!

I would recommend having some 24mg around. I was a 2+pad smoker. Started with 24 and within a couple of weeks I had to drop to 18mg. Also, try to find 'em at least two fav flavs; flav burn out, ya know.

Good luck to all ya'll!

rounding third and heading home...
3+ppd, you might look into WTA juice- I know that's what it took to get me to shake cigs and vape full-time. if high nic regular juice works than that's great but I KNOW WTA will increase the odds if it doesn't. you can also use a lower nic level and it works just fine(at least it did for me)

that is very nice of you, and it seems to be common practice amongst vapers here. This is the best way to convert people, thru kindness and compassion. You're saving lives when you boil it down. Maybe host a juice tasting party, this way they can try a bunch of juices and maybe some of your mods too. Well done.

Thanks for that. Although I've never tried it, I do know some good vendors up here that carry it. :)

Awsome, now if you have a vape bar or at least a B&M that offers free tasting, get with your mail carrier, set up a day and time to take her and her husband on a tasting party. Let them find flavors they adore, and, after, go to a cafe that has outdoor seating, or allows vaping, and buy them a coffee or some other beverage they like, vape and talk about vaping for a bit.

Let them see vapers are pretty cool people. :)

If no place to taste, offer to go in with them on a large sampler pack of flavors and, host a tasting party for them.
