So I jumped in and bought a vaping kit at the mall yesterday from A & N. Now I'm thinking I spent too much and locked myself into something with no options. Nothing I can do now, just venting. I do like it so its not that big a deal, just bummed I'm going to have to spend more money to try other flavors.

That's how we learn. It's called education. Keep in mind that most of us at ECF hav come by our knowledge the hard way.
Enjoy your vape & keep coming back.

Its from a company called A & N smoke solutions. I don't know what type of threading, that info was not included in the purcahse, I am sure so you only buy their cartos. They have mall kiosks here in SE Wisconsin malls. Heard from someone else there is a vaping shop in our area, will probably take my batteries there and see if they have any accessories I can add to it.

Most mall cigs are overpriced and over-hyped. You can buy other cartos/juice etc that will work with what you have to begin with. As you learn more you can upgrade. Most of these things are much cheaper on line even w/shipping. A lot of us started this way so its a learning experience just keep asking questions for what you need. The threading is important because that depends on what type equipment you can buy to go with it.

Why not try and post a pic or two. A lot of people on here have enough knowledge to possibly see what threading it is. Maybe a pic of the carto off the battery showing the threads? Just a thought.

I started with a disposable from Plaid Pantry! It was good enough for me to realize I could switch from cigarettes to vaping. Then I went online and comparison shopped a lot. I got an Kgo (a type of ego) and that was good (about $60 for the kit with two complete ecigs, battery and charger, from Virgin Vapors) but... THEN I found reomods, and that was the 'ecig' that stuck. I don't think much now about changing my 'equipment', I am satisfied. But before I stumbled on the reo mini, I thought about it all the time!

You probably need to try out what you've got for a bit and look around online... I think almost everyone's first ecig was a learning experience- don't feel bad!

PS I never would have bought a reo mini for $150 right off the bat. Now, looking back, it was my wisest purchase, would do it again in a minute if I lost 'her' :vapor:

Personally I think 510 is much better than 808. I started with the 808 and its a pain finding equip that works with it it. If you do you are stuck with that company. 510 is pretty much the standard these days. Most of the mall cigs are stick batts and have very limited battery life. They work and that's all that matters when you are starting out.

Sorry that happened to you but don't get bummed out. Most of us have done the same thing. Look on this site the suppliers are great that are mentioned and linked. You should just get an ego battery if you don't want to spend much. You can get an ego twist for like 30 bucks. Dang those mall kiosks.
