Recently I was having some problems with my V2 as many of us have. It got to the point that the thing was misfiring... ohh... about 100% of the time. One day I was riding in my car (not driving) and decided to take the switch apart to see if some more toying could possibly fix the issue.

I started to unscrew the adapter, and suddenly *ping* the spring in the switch extends, shooting the three pieces that make up my button all throughout the car. I sat their with wide-eyed surprise, shocked and horrified. This was my only unit, I only had HV 901 atomizers, the V2 had burnt up my stock of normal 901 atomizers. Stupid me, I didn't drip often enough, fried those babies like my Mom with an oven (she was never a good cook, but I still love her). This car of mine you see, it's a beast, an old Buick with those plush couch like cushion seats. Comfy, nice looking if we were still in the late 80's early 90's, but they ate whatever fell down into them. Jenny Craig would never be any help to this fat monster.

To say the least, I got scared. I was on my way to work, and the only thing I could think about was the nic-fit I would be dealing with if I couldn't find the pieces. When the car came to a park I immediately jumped out and started digging around in the seats... all I could find was a spring. No button, no button secure piece; as I like to call it. My heart sunk, I was screwed, couldn't look anymore, had to go to work. With my head down and my need for nicotine raging threw me, all I could do for eight hours was think about tearing that monster apart when I got home. When I did get home, I did tear through that car. I was a man on a mission, a treasure hunter looking for his holy grail. I scavenged that old piece of crap for a good thirty minutes, and I found the button, but not the button secure piece.

Well, I had the spring and i had the button... I could make this work. I grabbed some duct tape, slid the spring into the button, put the button in the mount and used duct tape to put over it to hold it in place. I pressed down, and HOLY CRAP did it hit. Like a champ, better then it ever had hit before.

Now not only does my V2 work, but now if it starts to misfire, all I have to do is press it a bit to one side or another and bam, the SOB makes contact and vapes like a fog machine. I got a free roaming button, my V2 is a duct tape ghetto looking piece of shinny mechanical beauty, but hell, the thing works.

Prodigy V2.Ghetto. My baby.
