Steve just wrote about a replaceable button for different conductivity, but a button by itself would be easy to loose. How about instead of replacing the button for different resistances, just make it so you can rotate the button. "North and south" could have one material for conductivity and "east and west" would have another (all on the underside of the button). When the button was rotated it would change both contact points. Would illustrate but I think you get the idea.

Will definitely look in to it Max ... Our Mechanical switch prototypes should be done soon. We tried 1 approach with disc springs, however it needed roughly 4lbs. of pressure to activate ... A bit tough! We are trying an approach much like yours now Monk!

Will keep you all posted! The mechanical switch will be available for the New Prodigy and Protege for those interested.

Awesome!!! I will be interested for sure.... Be sure to twitter this release. lol....

Hey Cash... I never thought I would see a regular e-cig at PS again. But the new Ace looks really nice man.... I like... I might just have to pick up a few of those nice looking batts for the heck of it... I don't have any manuals for the Carto yet so.... and what a nice price point you have brought too... any chance you will stock the blank cartomizers sometime? Those are the ones I usually get.... at just about the same price as yours... Just wanted to say way to go and I look forward to upgrading the Protege to a mechanical switch soon. Thanks.....

Appreciate the kind words Vap! And yes, blank atomz will be stocked hopefully within the next couple of weeks :)

Yeah, Steve needs to weigh in here. I get the impression from his post that the mechanical switches will fit the existing Protege and the new Prodigy.

A couple more for ya Steve.

Are the Atomz slotted cartomizers?

Are the batts slotted?

You are correct lotus ... Mechanical switches are being designed to be direct replacements to existing units :)

Atomz are slotted ... Batts are not slotted :)

Hope that helps Lotus!
