A Little Overwhelmed

Hey all, i have been snooping around the DIY section for some time now, and although I might have gotten a little knowledge, im still far from where i feel comfortable with actually buying some diy supplies. Im looking around at all these different diy sites, Wizard Labs, Lucky 7, Pure Vapes. I am more than overwhelmed, so im asking, where is a general site that i can get everything i need with some great extracts? Im a heavy dripper, so preferrably somewhere with a good vg as well.

Another thing is, why cant we use oil base extracts but water and alcohol ones are ok? There are just soo many questions i have, and would do best watching youtube tbh. All these stickies are intimidating...Halp!

I've also seen things like magic mask, vape wizards.....ethyl maltol solutions, citric acid solutions, malic acid solutions etc......? lol

ok, so wizard labs then, i have syringes, beakers and bottles etc...now what flavorings are best to use there? they have seedman, tfa, and loranns

I would say TFA is the best flavoring WL carries. A lot of people also like Flavour Art, Inawera, and Hangsen flavoring.

I am also just starting and found that no one place had everything I wanted so I ended up buying from several. Some had flavors, some had bottles, some hat other stuff, Amazon had a sonic cleaner, etc.

I am also not the most patient person and jumped in and figure I will learn from my mistakes. A bad tasting flavor will not be anything like venting a battery and I fortunately can afford to throw the awful stuff out.

I bought all my stuff from Wizard Labs. I am slowly buying the same flavors from different suppliers just so I can determine which I like best. Everyone's taste is individual so what I might think is too weak, you might think is too strong, or bitter, or too sweet; you get the idea. I make the same juice with a couple of different flavor makers, keep notes and compare...

Good luck, but, be forewarned, it can become addictive!!!

Read all the sticky's....read Danny45 and Hoisiers(sp) blogs.....set up your DIY supplies...drink a stiff drink....dig in...it's all good

Overwhelming at first, but well worth the steep learning curve as DIY is FAR less expensive than buying pre-mixed juice AND you can fine tune your mixes to suite your taste. There are many flavor manufactures and unfortunately no single one is "best" (or even good), at every flavor they offer. For example Inawera's Cherry is the best, truest cherry flavor I have found but, for me, their Vanilla was somewhat lacking. There are many vendors that carry one or more specific manufacturer's flavors but none that carry them all so be prepared to use multiple vendors once you get up and running. The vendors I buy from are; Wizard Labs-(sample sizes of TFA), One Stop DIY Shop-(bulk TFA and LorAnn), Bull City Vapor-(Inawera), Vapers Tek-(Inawera), RTS Vapes-(bulk Hangsen, FA and lab glassware), DIY Flavor Shack-(Holy vanilla), and Ecigexpress-(FA, FW, Signature and LorAnn). I buy PG and VG in bulk from Amazon and bulk 100mg nic from Wizard Labs. Funny thing is I have bought and sampled many, many flavors but now buy only a select few to flavor/enhance my homebrewed NETs.
