Ladies and gentlemen of ECF, I have a dire warning that must be shared with all vapers. There is a scam out there that is not only a way to steal money from people, but is also a threat to this very industry itself. The scam I speak of is Green Nicotine. Their website can be viewed here:
www. greennicotine .com Electronic Cigarette | Electric Cigarette | Smokeless Cigarette | E-Cig | Smoking Alternative - GreenNicotine Electronic Cigarettes.
At first, this may just seem like another overpriced mall kiosk. it is far from it. the way this man markets his products may give the FDA ideas, and may misshape the public's view of how the Electronic Cigarette industry should be run. he spreads misleading lies about electronic cigarettes who compete with him, such as atomizers containing pure nickle, and that particles thereof get in the vapor. If you look at his blog here you will find many other very alarming examples
greennicotine .com/blog/ Green Nicotine
This has come to the attention to some of you a few months ago when I believed his lies and posted them on here to ask you if you believed they were true. Some of you commented on his deceptive videos, only to have your comments removed and your username blocked from commenting any further on his videos. I believe further action must be taken to stop them from harming and slandering our fine industry by spreading awareness and making sure he knows that what he's doing has been compromised! First, I recommend flagging his videos as spam and reporting these people to youtube. one of the most alarming and misleading videos can be found here:
www. youtube .com/watch?v=7koxKa_S7Ng]YouTube - ‪Green Nicotine reviews and Competitors‬‏
I suggest as many people flag him as possible. the next step you can take is doing what I just did 5 minutes before I wrote this and giving the owner of this scam a piece of your mind by emailing him at sssean@gmail.com
- do not be extremely vulgar or send anything nonconstructive, tell him you know the truth about what he does and that he will not get away with it. make him feel like the jig is up. here's what I sent him, I suggest similar things as this:

So I used to believe your nonsense. I used to think that having fruit flavors markets to minors. I used to believe the flat out LIE you and your uneducated mall kiosk workers told me about nickle being in atomizers, and furthermore about your cartomizers (yeah, that's what it's called when an atomizer and cartridge are built 2-in-1). There is no way a 1 ML cartomizer can contain 50 cigarettes worth. I know what you really do. You take an electronic cigarette called Greencig, straight out of china, repackage and rebrand them, and sell them to clueless mall shoppers for 5 times what they're really worth. your batteries are really worth about 10 dollars. your cartridges should only be sold for about $30 for a pack of 10 at MOST, probably $20 since they cannot be refilled. a PCC (which means Personal Charging Case) should only be sold for about $20. But this isn't just about the money, let me educate YOU about your own industry, and about the lies you either ignorantly or maliciously spout.
First of all, let's talk about the fruit flavors. These are not made to "appeal to nonsmokers". When the E-cig industry reached the US, smokers despised the tobacco flavors, because it's hard to emulate the tobacco taste, so what they did was asked for fruit flavors, which were made. Fastforward the clock about 6 months, after vaping (yeah, that means using an E-cig) a cherry flavor to get their nicotine, the smokers discovered that they didn't even LIKE the taste of cigarettes anymore! That is the purpose of fruit flavors: to disassociate your taste buds with tobacco as much as possible so that you won't even like it. You use this same tactic, except you PASS YOUR FLAVORS OFF as tobacco flavors, when they certainly are not.
Western is supposed to taste like a Marlboro? that's funny, because I could SWEAR it tastes just like a coffee flavor, which I'll bet it IS, now knowing how you operate. Oriental is supposed to taste like Camel? that's odd, to me it tastes just like cinnamon roll, which once again I bet it actually is.
Alright, Now let's get to the "nickle meshing" BS you pulled out of your .... Most atomizers aren't made of pure nickle, they're made of a nickle-chrome alloy which is resistant to heat. this same metal is used in fryers at fast food resturaunts. and I dissected your cartridge only to discover those "inorganic fibers" you speak of are only a heat inhibitor wrapped around a heat conducting wire, which is made of.... wait for it.... NICKLE-CHROME! wanna know how I know about this? www.e-cigarette-forum.com These are the people who are going to expose the lies of people like you and spread the truth about this industry. you even have the cowardice to use your family to sell your product. it makes my stomach turn when I see all the videos of the innocent people you've ....ed out of their money. You are slandering this whole industry in an effort to make a quick dollar. I got screwed by you myself, and $500 later, I finally found a company that sells the same thing you sell for a fraction of the price. meet your worst nightmare. www.vapor4life.com same type of battery and better cartridges for it for about $10-$20 per item.

OMG that is the first time I have heard of "cartridge bacteria". Read FAQ's on his site. PG is a very effective germ killer so unless this guys is puffing his Green nic e-cig via his anus bacteria is of little concern. The nickle mesh thing is hilarious. What a numb nut. To bad people will believe what is offered up on that site as fact.

Well... I'm curious, has nobody else seen eSmoke re-branded kiosks in their areas? I've seen them under the mark of Green Smoke, Blue World Solutions, <something>51, and all over the Poker TV coverage now... all the same re-branded stuff at almost the same prices. Sometimes the claims aren't as wild but mostly they are.

Most of this seems like the same stuff I was given by eSmoke when they were trying to convince me to resell. Perhaps watching them too, if this is of that concern, isn't a bad idea. Cheers, -Magnus

my concern is most rebranders don't lie about other E-cigarettes they way this guy does, and he's all over the country, too. my other concern is that he attacks fruit flavors and not only feeds the myths spread by the FDA and anti-smoking groups about e-cigarettes, but actually exploits them to profit off of them. this is a big problem

this post particularly disturbed me:

Green Nicotine Welcomes New FDA Regulation of the Electronic Cigarette Industry
April 28th, 2011

(Tucson, AZ – April 27, 2011) –The recent ruling in the Sottera, Inc. v. Food & Drug Administration case has once again brought the E-Cigarette industry into the spotlight and Green Nicotine Electronic Cigarettes could not be better prepared. Many electronic cigarette companies will have to scramble to prepare for FDA regulation, but Green Nicotine Electronic Cigarettes has been prepared for these types of regulations.

In fact, Green Nicotine Electronic Cigarettes welcomes a higher level of government regulation, as Green Nicotine president and CEO Sean Schoepflin says, “We are excited about the opportunity to have the FDA enforce regulations that we [Green Nicotine] have been implementing for years. We know that we have the world’s most technologically advanced and safest electronic cigarette. This is our chance to prove it.”

While many other E-Cigarette companies have had questionable methods of production and marketing strategies, Green Nicotine Electronic Cigarettes holds itself to a higher standard with both superior quality and ethical marketing. Green Nicotine has not only made claims that it does not market to minors or non-smokers, but has taken action in both of these areas with the Age Verification Program and internal Secret Shoppers. The goal of Green Nicotine Electronic Cigarettes is not to recruit new smokers, but rather to help current smokers stop using traditional tobacco products, which are known to contain chemicals that cause cancer and lead to many other health related issues.

Schoepflin said, “We know there has been a lot of concern over the potential marketing to minors, which is exactly way we have taken action. We don’t produce producing fruity flavors and our Age Verification Program sets us apart from our competitors. Hopefully these new regulations will validate the electronic cigarette industry as a genuine alternative to traditional tobacco use.”

Even with the prior lack of governmental regulation, Green Nicotine Electronic Cigarettes had operated as though the government was keeping a close eye on them. According to Schoepflin, “Just because you CAN get away with inferior quality and unethical marketing does not mean that you SHOULD. Green Nicotine has always had a superior electronic cigarette and practiced thoughtful marketing.” Green Nicotine has long sought ways to bring recognition and legitimacy to its ground breaking product and mission.

“This company was founded on the idea that we would revolutionize the E-Cigarette industry. We aren’t out for a quick buck. We want to actually improve the lifestyle of traditional tobacco smokers. That is what makes Green Nicotine different,” says Schoepflin

Wow. That's quite a "bargain" they got going on over there. For just $59.95 you can get "free replacement" of the battery--as long as it is only defective, of course, not if it is broken or lost and it of course doesn't cover the cartos that are available for as little as $4.25 each if you buy a box of 100.

Kewl, he offers cartos which are equivalent to 2.5 packs of cigarettes. An industry first!
I wish I could get this scammer banned from YouTube.

we got one video taken down, we just need to keep going! like I said, these scumbags need to find a new industry to move their scams to, because ours will no longer put up with it! hopefully he sees he's in for a hard time with that video taken down! hopefully that video taken down by youtube will send a red flag that everybody is on to his BS!

According to the video on his website, that is because he "clearly does more research than anyone else." Most folks call it a cartomizer, but I call it a cartridge...I like 'em french fried taters, mm hm.

...

Seriously, I kinda feel bad even replying to this thread and drawing any attention to this pathetic excuse for a vendor. Fortunately, most people know that you don't have to pay mall prices when you shop online. I'm amazed this clown is able to stay afloat, much less tout himself as an industry leader.

YET ANOTHER ripoff using E9 hardware! Unfortunately this scumbag knows, like the GreenSmoke people know, there is a sucker born every minute...and I am betting China is up to its gills in surplus crappy E9 gear that anyone that knows anything about vaping sees as a garbage technology. The use of the term "Green", the slick misleading websites, even the wacky statements about how the FDA loves them above all other ecigs! They all do it, and the vast majority of them are E9 pushers!

Here is how much a normal consumer really as to pay for E9 gear:

http://www.........../shopping/products/5-E-Cigarette-E9/

Dealer can probably get batts for about $5 each in bulk. To be fair, the E9 is an unregulated 3.7V batt, and the cartos are about 3.0 ohms, so its a reasonable vape...at first, since these batts die fast and do not have many recharge cycles before hitting the trash can, and they are auto only with about a 5 second cutoff.

But dealers like this know they have, at least for now, a captive market: ignorant, desperate smokers, who will believe anything. Very few that get roped into these mall brands, or the slick website lies, will actually stick with these PVs for the long term...and I'm sure they know that too. They are making a killing by being the gateway to better and less expensive vaping. I myself was totally fooled by the GreenSmoke scam.

I got vapor4life now, we should start a thread with a list of known rebranders that are prevalent across the country

Why don't you make your own video and post it telling all that you know about Greensmoke? Maybe it would help. I can't believe they are in business! What a ripoff.

Greensmoke and green nicotine are actually entirely sperate entities. Greensmoke, while equally a ripoff to green nicotine, at least only BS's it as far as the quality of their product goes. they make no claims that other E-cigs are any less safe or less ethical like GN does. at least greensmoke offers a decent amount of flavors and doesn't try to BACK UP what the FDA says and capatalize on doing so. Green Nicotine pulls that whole "nickle mesh" BS and tries to act like they're an industry leader and purposely misinforms the public about the whole industry. if I had a gun to my head and had to choose, I would spend $150 for a greensmoke starter kit over $150 for a GN starter kit any day. not to mention, at LEAST greensmoke charges a reasonable price for their cartos, their batteries are a damn ripoff still. Green Nicotine are the WORST. read the blog post I copied and pasted on the first page of this thread for a little sample of what I mean
