Come on guys. Let Imeo do his thing. Creative people need their train of thought uninterrupted. When they are in the "zone", they have to stay focused on that. We all know Imeo likes to stay in touch with all of us. But designing of beautiful mods should always be his highest priority. So, if he is quite, let's take it as a sign of something beautiful to come. 
Don't worry he needs a break every now and then otherwise he'll overload

Hi, i can understand your point of view, reminds me endless friendly discussions about a Loveless knife (wich finally stay as it is, considering no other example have been given to an engraver during the life-production of the maker) ......
I wouldn't polish or even use a prototype or a one-off or hand made GG (i own one of the very first kayfun 'rough' proto wich stay untouched, while considering i'm considerably less involved in this maker's production).
But the fact the 'solid 18650' is unserialized enters a bit in consideration for me, then its 'naked' industrial look + the hidden wings as a final 'appel au crime' (+ the multiple genuine jGG , ggts and stealth i own yet). This tube seems to be made for this purpose, but its just me, of course.
+ instead of (kindly) asking if you agree, what must or must not be done on a jGG, i gave more credit to Imeo, the only authority if one should be, who reacts himself well to this project, weeks ago when the 18650 jGG 'v been released.
For some, not using an item to keep it untouched as a collector piece like other do, is a worst 'crime' (of love, easily understood) : built, thought, adjusted to be used, who are they to give it another destination from its primary purpose, to its destiny

A new shape (2 parrallel tubes can be very ergonomic in hands where squarred boxes are not) ,
Offering electronic to mech direct vape at any time without adding any part,
An auto lock fire button,
Shorter / bayonets threads (one day in vapelife i will have enough screwing and unscrewing ...),
Power selection via turning an engraved ring,
....

the leakproofness and robust construction of the GG atos are yet major qualitys in everyday life, why not an 'extreme jGG' : waterproof (with valved gas escapment), dustproof (found yet in the outstanding Penelope 2 mouthpiece), firing flawlessly under polish winter to australian summer: 'GG fan-proof'
