Thanks, in many ways I posted this just to get my head back on straight. I want to stop worrying and now go back to helping people get off smokes successfully again, help people get their gear working to its full potential and just generally enjoy vaping again.....enough of the doom and gloom. Let's sit back and watch this fiasco play out right into our very hands. I have faith the American people won't let this fly.

I'm not saying don't be active, or let your voice be heard, just to relax a little while you're doing it.

Do you remember Elian Gonzalez a refugee from Cuba?

There are a LOT of things the legislators should stop but are afraid to act.

Remember McCain Feingold bill. president Bush said he knew parts was unconstitutional but would let the courts decide.

The supreme court ruled it Constitusional and It now standar.

I choose to hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Just in case.

True they can say what they want. But they don't Need a Precedence in this case. These are New Regulations

oh, but they do need precedence. One good attorney uses my example and this whole thing has to be reconsidered. If anything, we have precedence on our side via the 2009 debacle, which I'll admit, I was still a smoker during, so have limited knowledge of.

NO Sir. They can make any darn precedent they want.

Ever hear tge term "Judge Shopping"?

They only need to find a left leaning Judge that agrees that vaping is dangerous and should be squashed like a bug then have the trial in that Judges court.

WHAM. they just established precedent, and the next trial is 10 times harder.

I trust this overeaching court as far as far as i can throw an elephant

If you say so.

I'm just not Ready to Downplay the idea of People being Prepared for what the FDA say's it Intends to do.

Because like Another Members said, if I was Wrong, that might leave a Lot of People Holding an Empty Bag. And I would find it Hard to Sleep at Night knowing that I may have Contributed to that.

I say... "Hope the Best. But Plan for the Worst."

I never downplayed being prepared, in fact I admitted to being one of the most prepped people out here. I'm saying that we can't forget we live in a free society (to a point) and we the people can eventually win. If those "other" guys can win, we sure the heck can.

But the scenario you describe already happened in 2009 and was lost, why will it be easier this time around, especially with so much research from other countries just starting to be unveiled?

Here's another little Truthism I leave my Life By.

BTW - What happened in Late 2009/Early 2010 with the FDA saying they had the Legal Authority to seize Shipments because the Nicotine we were using was a "Drug" is Light Years from what the FDA is doing Today.

There is no way this is going to pan out the way the government intends.
I think you're missing the point many are trying to make. It's not about people like you and I. Most of us here will find what we need through other channels.

It's about those currently using tobacco now that will never find their way to vaping like you and I. Not to mention future vapers will only have tobacco as a choice.

Just because they lost in 2009 doesnt mean they will lose this time?.

You have tge left leaning congress member in morning speeches going to the floor with pictures and the gory detail how youth after youth had a mod blow up, or pictures of children who drank ejuice and died.

How long do you think the supporter of that bill will stand firm against that smear job?

Sorry but in this politically correct enviroment; i expect gutless politicians to act like gutless politicians.

If i prepare for the worst; i have made the legislators and Bureaucrats irrelevant.

Then why are you trying to encoursge others NOT to prepare?

You planning to open the black market version of Wal Mart?

I'm encouraging people to prepare wisely. Yes, get a couple mods, yes get a tank or two extra, but nic is the key. That is the major player here, not the gear.

Not planning a black market wal-mart. No one will get their hands on my stash if the poop does hit the fan.

You and I are not that far apart.

I am recommending

3 spare mods
3 spare attys
3 liters of 100 mg/ml nicotine
Flavors for ejuice
500 feet wire.

I myself have prepared for 5 years not 500.

The Govt is getting so far out of Control i expect the people to stand up.and say HELL NO IN A FEW YEARS.

Agreed. But I doubled your nic and cut the wire out.

I don't see it happening. Each year there are more and more young people, immigrants, that depend on the government giving them more and more. They are going to continue voting the way they have been. JMHO.

The poop has hit the fan, ignoring it and encouraging others to do so does not make this stinky fact go away. I find it a bit unreal to brag on how stocked up and prepared you are while discouraging others to do the same.

Where is this discouragement? did you read my post? It is realistic to believe that nicotine is the only regulation that will be followed through on completely. Therefore it will be what most need to stock up on. Tell me which basic rebuilding supply is going to disappear. You think welding wire and cosmetics cotton are gonna dry up cause the FDA doesn't want you to vape? Get real bud, and stop buying into the panic and hysteria. Think logically and you won't spend a fortune on things you will be able to get forever. That is all I said, how you got "I'm all set and screw the rest of you" out of that is beyond me.

Wow, people, let's get back to the realistic part, it does seem that in the future, there will be some form of e-cig out there. They are not banning all of them, so, we will have vaping in the future. It will be underpowered batteries and not more then 2ml in each cigalike, BUT, it will be there. As, I am never going back to smoking, if that is all that is available, I will buy the cigalike. OR, chew nicotine gum, or both.
That being said, I have about a 5 year supply of nic and parts.
