I remember some people complaining about having to online id verify.

I do apologize for my previous post did not realize you had been vaping so long. That being said I do believe you are over-reacting to the other posters comments.
I might be,that is true.you're 100% right.I'm just saying change is coming and it's not tin foil hat stuff it's real

With a logical response?like people on that thread was a month ago huh?all "life time vapers" all scared about all this and this was my way of basically saying I kinda believe them.that something is changing.hey you don't believe it all good.never said one time you have to read this or take it as fact or as law.I'm just saying my eyes are open now just like they told me to do.I have no clue as to what you guys are really talking about in half the statements you made.like I just started vaping in 2016 when I joined this group lol.have a nice night guys.

You’re waking up to what some of us have been discussing, fighting and planning for for some time now.

The FDA and Electronic Cigarettes, a Timeline Part 1

I got my first e-cig in ‘09 and immediately started hearing about shipments being seized. When I figured out this was going to work for me, I decided to take the steps that would make me self sufficient ie mech mods, rebuildable attys and DIY (along with a lifetime supply of nic).

Something is changing, but it’s not just a recent thing.

FDA tightens marketing standards for top-selling Juul e-cig, cites eBay sales to youths
this is from April but what started then is effecting us now and to think they just mean juul and not all e cigs is nuts.......oooo no you can't buy juul but see that smok novo? You can buy that this is so funny I love it.I think juul gave them their main reasons to start really kicking in on us.juul as the poster boy for vaping and that's not a good thing.just my thoughts on it

Yes and no, the most stringent restrictions have been delayed...

    Today is August 8, 2018

There has been a big push to “save the children” with bans on flavors and Juul. Before, it was the cloud chasers that were going to do us in.

Depending on how the midterms go, I think there could be changes to the 8/8/22 PMTA extension.
It was Chuck Schumer who kicked off the Juul and flavor "save the children" campaign, and filed a lawsuit against the FDA for not enforcing the 8/8/18 deadline.

Durbin was in Chicago on Monday to announce his latest effort. He plans to introduce a bipartisan bill with Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, that would impose new restrictions on electronic cigarettes, unless manufacturers can show to the Food and Drug Administration, within one year, that flavorings that seem child-friendly are really smoking cessation devices.

If you haven’t, do a little research on the MSA, Master Settlement Agreement. It explains why politicians have got their panties in a twist over vaping and the resulting decrease in smoking rates. The children are just a smoke screen.
o I have and that is some scary stuff.like nuts, to know that states get paid to basically kill there own people off is nuts.I feel like I contributed to the bad image of vaping because I use to cloud chase but for about 6 months been getting into advocacy hard core and I love it.I've never got behind anything but vaping. vaping saved my life and I need to at lest try and save it.you feel me?

There is no such thing as a nicotine license, unless it is a local county thing where you live. If so just order online because no one else needs one.

Scott, I owned NicotineRush dot com, (now closed), for a number of years selling Nasal Snuff. Yes, there is most certainly a nicotine license. (and not just one) A retailer/distributor/wholesaler, can't buy any nic product from any tobacco distributor without one.

You can't begin to imagine the hoops anyone selling a nic product has to go through. Federal license. State license. County license, and city licenses.

    Age verification was also mandatory.

Many credit card companies wont even take your business.
You have to use a 'high risk' merchant processor who requires much higher processing fees.

Then there is the Federal, State, County, and City tobacco taxes.
If you're an online retailer, you are also required to pay the State, County, and City tobacco taxes of each customers state. (although many online retailers don't)

    The paperwork alone was overwhelming.

Then came the PACT Act. This put me out of business.
