Good morning. Last night my oldest tried to print something for one of the summer online classes that she's taking and came to me saying that it wouldn't print right. I looked at it and knew right away that the ink was out. I'm so sick of dropping fifty bucks every time I turn around for ink. I tried the refill thing before but had poor results and think that it is what caused the last printer to fail. What's weird is that the computer says there is still black ink but it won't print any black ink. So here I go again to buy another set of cartridges.

Yep- printers are less expensive than the ink. And the refills are basically crap. grrr.

If you have plenty of color ink, you can sometimes switch which cartridges the printer prints from- so that you can get black without a black cartridge. Alternatively, can your daughter hand in something printed in a nice blue, or lilac?

I tried switching it to grayscale but it still didn't print. It shows two of the three colors that need replaced. Even if you change the text color then it barely prints. I'll just have to bite the bullet again and replace all four cartridges.

I just got back from a two hour service call. Wow it got quite a bit hotter here today than the forecast said this morning.

Hitt......I tried the ink re-fill kits. They suck! I would get the colors all over the place. Much easier filling a carto! I thnik you can take the emptys to Office Max and have them re-filled somewhat cheaper than buying them new. My kids bleed my ink quicker than I can buy a new one.

Off today and tommorrow,work Saturday,and then start my vacation. Some at work suggested to call off on the Saturday,but I have too much to do before I take the week off. Thinking of doing a pork shoulder on the Orion this weekend. Going to have to dust it off!
