Maybe, but Starbucks hires a lot of American kids who need a first job, and a lot of American adults who need a second job because their first doesn't pay the bills anymore. At least with Starbucks I know I'll get a good cup of coffee when I travel, can't say the same about the unknown mom and pop. There are few things I won't skimp on, and coffee is one of them.

why are people getting upset about Starbucks choosing to ban smoking and vaping near their stores? Its their business..
I'm sure many family friendly places would look into banning vaping around their facilities too. I'm sure there are many parents who don't want their kids vaping in the future or present regardless of how "safe" vaping is.

I still don't get how they call tell people 25 feet away what the hell they can and can't do if they are on public property.
Technically it is considered private property. I learned this when a dumb broad spilled her coffee in her lap, punched the gas and .....-rammed my subie. Police said there was nothing they could do because it happened on private property. No police report, but I think the cops got her phone number and bought her a new coffee.
Many vapors seem to be under the impression that, they can vape anywhere they please and if anyone disproves of it, they need to be "educated".. Almost sounds more annoying than the anti-ecig community..

I love being in Starbucks and the person in front of me orders a super jumbo carmel mocha frappathingy and when I step up to the plate and order "coffee...black"...they look at me like I'm from Mars or something.
