A testament: Provari takes a swim

Yesterday I woke up with the flu 15 minutes before I had to go to work. I dragged myself out of bed and went into the bathroom. When I went to go put the seat up my provari slipped out of my pocket and plunged into the toilet. Half asleep, sick, and soon to be late for work I ripped it out as fast as possible and dismantled it drying all the pieces. I was in an awful mood and just needed some nicotine and did the stupidest thing possible, popped the battery in the still damp device and tried to fire it..... Didnt fire just gave me an E8 error. Immediatly drove to my buddys house to borrow one of his APV's. I let the provari sit with no battery in it and the cap off for the rest of that day and overnight. Despite my stupidity and the fact I could have shorted it out, now that the device is fully dried it works as it always has The device got completely flooded.. A testament to the provari's durability.

Thankfully yes! Could have been a lot worse but I still threw out the cartomizer that was in the tank when it happened, didn't feel too fond of vaping toilet water

Yeah I did, Had a fever of 103 at that point thinking I had a dead provari on my hands and was going to need to dish out 180 some odd dollars for a new one. Boy am I happy that all worked out well in the end and I'm feeling almost 100% better now too!

Unbelievable. I also had a horrible toilet issue. Mine was in my coat pocket, flushed, turned and it went right in with the water steadily flowing over it like a waterfall. After I got over the millisecond of, "my Provari is in the toilet", I yanked it out thinking, "well that's that". I unscrewed the bottom cap and there was water that filled the whole bottom of the extension cap. It looked to be a goner. Took the battery out, dried the outside of it, shook as much as I could, then let it air dry overnight. The next morning I grabbed another battery, threw it in, and it fired up just like nothing ever happened. I was shocked. Crazy to see that some one else actually did some thing similar. Not something that you want to just come out and admit. Just another story of a quality product surviving a somewhat silly but possibly product ending accident.
