Well, I personally wouldn't pay that much for any vapey thing.. but I'm rootin' for y'all that are expecting them; I'm eager to read reviews on those new A2's! And really very glad to know that the original creator hasn't given up on the basic Achilles design, because it's a winner.

before I bought my mini drip I tried this with a kayfun. it works great. can't wait for the achilles to become available.i like the light weight aspect.

I remember doing that. Had trouble keeping the coil from shorting out on the top cap, or something like that. But come to think of it, it is kinda similar setup to the achilles. Minus the titanium and the reliable spill proofness.

Plus... a kayfun without the top of the chimney with its interior dome shape = no flavor. In the 15mil post contest, I won the "super shorty" kayfun cap from SteamTuners, which is used without chimney... no flavor at all.

No. I've thought about the large chamber/no dome aspects of the achilles and why it nevertheless produces excellent flavor...without conclusion

Same here. Maybe that little ridge inside the top cap produces a similar effect? Other than that, best I can come up with is tight airflow+bottom airflow.

Other than the Achilles, the only atties I've really liked are the Kayfun -- Tobecos have the dome-shaped interior in the chimney-top (maybe the authentics too, but I know the EHpros don't, and the flavor suffers)... and the Magma, which is dome shaped inside the top cap. Everything else I've tried is just blah.

Ah, I hadn't even heard of a russian airliner going down in Egypt; I stay as far from "The News" as I can get -- it's always bad news. But at least they didn't use a Canada Dry can.

Well, I hadn't -- all I've heard on the news I've managed to overhear from my husband's TV lately was the terrorist attacks in Paris. I might not have even heard about that, except the channel I was watching did a ticker across the bottom of the screen during whatever show I was watching.

All this misinformation and disinformation about vaping in the media has made me hold them in even greater contempt than I already did, and that's really saying something, since I already thought they were stupid airheads hired for their ability to look pretty and read a teleprompter. So I really don't bother with the news at all anymore -- it's either bad news, or total lies, and neither is useful to me.
