Hi all,

Im not entirely new to vaping. I bought my first e cig in 2008, an njoy. I really liked it for a time but got tired of replacing cartos and trying to refill. In those days my budget was very limited and I never could order enough supplies to keep me going for long enough. I gave up pretty fast.

Any way - I am giving this a try again. I just bought the kgo and have been using it since last night. This is much better than the old njoy and DSE I had before.

but....

I know there is at least one thing that is really going to bug me.....the cartos. I have ordered a syringe to hopefully get a better fill but I can see right now that I will have to change cartos far too often for my liking.

What I would really like is to be able to fire my ecig up in the am and have it full and useful all day long. I dont mind switching out in the evening at home. I understand the kgo battery should last me all day...thats great. Is there a way I can have a decent vape without carrying a lot of supplies to work with me?

To be fair, I am ok with changing the carto or whatever at least once in the day but with the old Njoy I was topping off or putting in a new carto every hour or so and its just too much work!

If I am ever going to really get off the analogs for good I will probably use the kgo like a vapor pacifier until I get used to it.

I have seen the big mods but I am hoping for a sleeker option. I am rather petite and I dont want to look like an old lady with a big fat cuban stogie! The kgo is pretty big as it is!

Help and suggestions appreciated.

Another option is the Phoenix CE3 from gotvapes. It has the 510 threading, and when filled properly will likely last you the day. Plus, no filler material, and it is clear so you can see how much liquid is left. You will go through a little more liquid, but it is a good alternative to the regular cartomizers. It looks slightly intimidating at first, being clear, but it is slim and about the same diameter as regular cartos, just longer - the same as XL cartos.

Sounds like you need some tanks!

If you want to stay the carto/tank route, check these out. They are tall and slender and would look good on a KGO. (not top heavy)

3ml SLIM Pyrex Glass Tank With Chrome Metal END CAPS!

There are CE2 tanks, but they all seem to be the fatter ones, and they come mostly in plastic tanks. Maybe someone else will have some suggestions in that department.

With the carto/tank you need to have a punched carto. You can either buy them pre-punched, or you can punch them yourself with a carto punch like this one...

Cartomizer Punch

Tanks hold alot more juice than just a plain carto, about 3-6 mls depending on the tank. About 4 tanks will last me all day, and I have this darn thing permanetly attached to my hand.

I think bottom feeder would be great for you. It has a bottle of liquid that is feeding the atomiser/cartomizer...the smallest bottle used is 3ml..that would last you all day. Great introduction to bottom feeders is old goat here on forum. The cheapest way to find out if bottom feeder is for you. I have his mod and i'm glad i ordered from him..its very small and works perfectly. I just put my liquid in the morning and i'm good for the day.

Hey there. I've only been vaping for a month and I feel the same way you do. I find filling cartos to be hit and miss and i really just want to be able to pick up my pv and vape. Also im not into modding or anything DIY like that. I want to be able tp just buy something and use it and have it work for me.

So far what I've done is buy a few batteries and tanks from V4L and just vape off of a tank all day. Now its not very portable so i cant really use it when I'm at work so i went to the vapor shop in my town (small town we only have 1 store with 2 locations) and i bought a green smoke kit (its all they sell) So for vaping on the go i really like it. You do have to replace carts but since i dont vape very much when im not at home its not really an issue. I got 3 packs (5 per pack) when i bought my kit and I think ive got 6 carts left. (that was 2 weeks or so ago) but as i said i vape on my V4L batts and just fill the tanks. I've got 3 of them so i can switch flavors.

I've got an ego thats going to be here tomorrow and those have 5ml cartos on them, im gonna try filling those and see how i like it so i'll let ya know after i mess with it a bit. But as far as keeping things simple. That's what ive been doing. Just fill a tank and vape. Doesnt get much more simple than that and it gives great results.

Hope that helps.

Any tank If you get a Mom and Pops submarine tank well get two and you fill them both in the morning if its not practial for you to fill on at work.
As far as Mods go Check out the Joker Edge from Vaprlife.com It takes 2 16340 batteries its slim and compact. Its a nice looking Mod a fresh set of batteries and a spare set just in case.
The best thing is its American made great quality. If you break it you can get it repaired. You have your Kgo for a back up.

Keeping things simple....ah yes. I agree with buzzlove with the idea that any higher end "mod" type unit is going to be much more convenient, even if it's larger. Carto tanks are handy, but they can come apart easy in a pocket--huge mess. Personally I think a few cartomizers in your pocket are your best bet, along with a decent custom unit (silver bullet, joker edge, provari, whatever) with long battery life will keep you nice and happy. Hell, even a joyetech ego would fit the bill. I have a few higher end mods, but when I'm out and about, I use a joyetech ego 18650 "mod". Genuine joye, and they are really nice for 20 bucks a piece (mass production keeps the price low). I got two of them the other day and I'm impressed with them, especially for the price. The larger size of the bigger battery mods may seem like a drawback, but trust me---you're gonna end up with one sooner or later. Save yourself some cash and just get one now.
