My fiance and I smoke cloves infrequently (maybe only a couple a day to about 6 or so if we're drinking and socializing with smokers). We're looking to ditch the smoke and start vaping. I have a couple friends who have Halo brand E-cigs and I like them quite a bit. I like the cigarette size form factor, and since we don't smoke that much anyway I don't think I'll mind the small battery life. I like the automatic battery, and I like that you drip the "juice" / oils into them.

Since they seem to be everything I want in a PV I would and maybe should just go out and get one of their kits. However, since I like to be a well educated consumer and found this wonderful resource I thought I'd ask the ECF community for advice.

So, should I just buy the Halo starter kit and call it a day for now? (And can anyone direct me to a cheap and recommended vendor for one?) Or, should I try something else? I've read good things here about the 501 and KR808.

In summary: I want a small cig sized form factor, and think the battery life will suit us just fine. I want to be able to drip my juice in and avoid the prefilled cartridges. I like the automatic batteries but am not opposed to trying a manual. I'm looking for advice and recommendations for a starter kit, and am ready to buy yesterday. Thanks! You guys rock! :2cool:

I got a DES 801 from litecigusa.net and it is reasonably priced, produces a lot of vapor. I do like the 510 cartos (I prefer Cartomizers) but you will need an adapter for the 510s if you want to drip you will find many options...510s are common so you may want to consider a 510 starter kit. Litecig has those too, I don't have the 510 batteries so can't advise you on those. Good Luck and Happy Vaping when you settle on something. I'm sure you will find lots of info here...I have!
