Lisa, do you recommend that all beta testers upgrade to the production verion? I got to use my beta for a little while and wasn't having any types of problems with it, what will I gain? And my new atty's will be here tomorrow, they will work in my beta version won't they? The new version too? Thank you!

Hiya vt - still up working and didn't get your PM till just now.

I don't have the new model AFS yet - however, I am awaiting one.

I wanted the improved one for several reasons:

1. The seal method has changed so it's easier to change the o-rings if necessary (if you've tried to change the o-rings on the prototype one, you'll know it's a pain and why Imeo felt he had to change it).

2. The ability to tighten and loosen the cap so that the mouthpiece is more secure.

3. The easier removal and re-application of the top-cap after refilling (I find the prototype one a little stiff to re-screw on and in fact I did cut my thumb on it the other day). The improved version is necessary in this instance.

4. Better placement of the entire unit on the atty - so less likely to slip the entire thing off whilst making adjustments.

Other than these reasons, I wanted to make sure I just had the latest design that incorporated the little niggles that Imeo and his testers had with the original design. Plus, I will still have the prototype one as a backup spare. Happy days!

And, yes, the atties are exactly the same and will work on both systems.

Sorry for the long post - but you did ask and I am awake still only due to the wonders of large quantities of caffeine. 8-o8-o8-o I think it's partially responsible for my ramblings.......... :)

You're most welcome Art

I am SO glad you're enjoying your AFS now.

On the first AFS, I believe the o-rings you need are 9mm (inner diameter) x 1.5mm thickness.
Not sure about the new AFS until I get one.

Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted in a few days because I have been reading through all of the post trying to find the answer to a very basic question. Are attys for the AFS available now for purchase or are they coming soon? I realize we get one atty with the AFS but what about back-ups? I'm feel certain that I am not the only one with this question' Help, please. :D

Thanks,
Lynn

Yes they are sweety:):)

Would like to know what's up with the Athens Post Office...... Tracking says package received on November 17 and still in Athens on November 21 preparing to ship...... What do they have to do, and how long does it take them to ship a small box or envelope......
4 days preparing to ship, maybe I will get it around 2015......
Well it is out of Imeo's hands....... He mailed the AFS........ Now it is just a long waiting game....... There is a good side to the story...... I am sitting here vaping on my old AFS on my Transformer having a good old time......

Art, Mine said the same thing yesterday but today, the USPS website said it arrived in NY on 11/17 so I expect it anytime. (Didn't come today) Just depends on how long they hold it in customs. ;)

Hiya :)

Ok i got my new AFS today and it is extremely well designed, knurled caps for easy removal and beefed up o-rings for compression fitting onto the atomiser and for keeping your mouthpiece secure (excellent idea and well implemented :thumb:) it also has the added benefit of holding the atty so tightly that to remove the atty just unscrew the AFS, GG Grant user like myself will find this invaluable for changing batteries as the AFS is a wider diameter than the grant so you could imagine the fun of getting the atomiser cap of with the AFS attatched..let's just say a few swear words were uttered :D

Now i know a few people have had some problems upon first use, i had myself as my old AFS atty went to meet it's maker a while ago

The main problem people seem to be having is liquid seeping from the atty breathing hole, this is an indication that your atty is flooded (it's easily done but you will soon get the hang of it) here's my method..hope it's of some help

I vape 3-4 inhales with the atty in the hole down position, then i vape 6-7 inhales in the hole up position, this way i haven't had a single leak from the atty, the atty holds more juice than people seem to think around the coil, but as soon as you begin to have a slightly burned taste in the hole up position then move it to the hole down position for a few inhales...and repeat

If all that fails then chuck it out the window and i'll be there waiting to catch it ;)

It's a completely new way of vaping but practice, practice and you will get the hang of it

oh p.s if you think your juice is too thin then add a bit of PG or VG to thicken it up and reduce the flow rate..works wonders :)

Thank you Lashmn...... I can wait patiently..... It is easy when you have the old AFS in my hands, puffing away on my GG Transformer and just having a "Good Ole Time "......
Yepper, just having a great time......
Just wish I had an alternate place to get the 901 attys with the second hole...... Sometimes it is so hard to get them from Imeo, because he is so busy, not to mention the distance factor......

You are very welcome. I didn't want you to think they were still on the other side of the pond. Guess it takes a while for USPS to update their info.

I just ordered 4 extra imeoatties today and hope the five of them will last for a while! :D I generally take good care of my atties and have lost very few (maybe one?) so I am hoping for good luck-you can't beat Imeo quality!

Imeo's quality is nothing short of excellent...... I just wish he was around the corner instead of being half way around the world..... I hate waiting when I order merchandise.......
Wish I could find someone closer to put that second hole in the 901 atty...... But, can't find anybody..... So, I will just have to learn to keep extras on hand.....
