My story, like many that I have read here, goes back to the very beginning. And I really mean THE BEGINNING! My mother smoked throughout her pregnancy with me, so in effect, I was smoking in the womb! My mom smoked, my dad smoked. My parents divorced when I was about 9 years old, and they both remarried to...you guessed it...smokers. My grandparents smoked. My grandpa, on my dad's side (a dentist I might add) smoked Pall Mall Reds. Unfiltered. I remember clearly going to visit the grandpeeps, and given a carton of Pall Malls to stack up like building blocks, to play with.
At about 14 years old, I swiped my first Winstons from my step-mom. It was non-stop from there.
My aunts and uncles smoked, my siblings smoked, my friends smoked (for the most part - some were lucky).
A few weeks ago, I arrived here, and frankly, I am not sure with what or how I was led here. Nonetheless, here I arrived. I read, and read, and eventually ordered some e-gig supplies for myself and hubby.
Because of this, I have not smoked a real cigarette since Friday, June 10th at about 5pm PST. One week ago today.
I have made some feeble attempts to quit smoking in the past, that didn't last very long, and I was miserable the entire time.
I can say, without a doubt, I am doing fine, I do not feel deprived, and I just need to determine what supplies, juices, and so forth I will need to continue my quit.
I want to say I am grateful for this place, and this technology.
Thanks to everyone here for their input, it has really helped us.
