Got mine today and I really like it aside from the flooding. Usage wise, It seems to have gotten right everything that the KF got wrong. Hopefully I'll be able to sort out my leakage issues using the methods others have shared. As for aesthetics.... yes, I agree it's hideous but finally having a tank that vapes as well as a dripper is worth the unsightliness for me at this point.

I don't know why I bought this. Does it have to built for subohming? I don't subohm and now wondering "what was I thinking" when I made this purchase. I have never built duo coils, is it possible to build this at a 1.8? Please don't laugh. If not, I guess I will need to put it up for sale :(
I have mine built at 1.4ohm. Works well once I got enough cotton in there to stop the flooding.

Keep in mind you can also go single coil if you are concerned about low ohms. There is plenty of room to go dual if you want 2 large coils, or just do single with a lot of wick to prevent flooding :)

Here's some pics of my latest build and a couple with cotton wicked:

Dual vertical coils stacked above the air flow. Each coil is 26AWG Kanthal A1, 7/8 wraps on a 1/8" (~3mm) bit, positioned with 3mm pick through each and into the air hole. The first layer of cotton is secured tight to the coil to prevent separation, the second is loosely packed into the rest of the deck to catch fluid. I mostly used fluffed out cut off tails from previous builds as fill. I'm cheap that way :)

It runs a little hot on a full charge, but is still vapeable. Next time, I'll probably go 10/11 wraps each or use 28 AWG and target 0.7 ohms.

@Kemosabe, it's the Copper Black Stingray (Clone) from FastTech with a GunMetal Nemi (also clone) switch. I do like that DT better than the one that came with the mod.

Here's a better pic:

@mzvgonly, I'm not sure how it would work as a dripper, since the top cap and firing chamber are both female threaded. I did vape directly off the chimney with the tank removed while I was trying to finish off the juice on the cotton in the firing chamber. I'm cheap like that :p

Aesop, that's one of the coolest looking rigs I've seen. Congrats! One q': Are you coiling with silica or using cotton? I'm gonna put new coils on my T7 and will try your verticals. Also, how are you laying the wicks out to the channels?

Tks for the input!

at first i didnt like this atty.....had lots of problems leaking and flooding.
i was cussing like nobodies business. thought id tried everything.
but, i finally figured it out. when you fill the tank, you cannot put any pressure in the tank at all.
none....if there is any when you fill....guaranteed to leak or flood.
its a pain in the ayus dealing with filling and the fill screw.

but...its vapes ok....doesnt put out as much vapor as the fogger.
but it has better flavor than the fogger.
in fact, id say this atty has flavor as close to a dripper as you can get.
and you will never get a dry hit.

so if yyou read this post before i edited it......go ahead say it.....im a bonehead

been vaping the hell out of this atty for several days now.
it is definately a winner!
im starting to like it better than my fogger v4.3
i was wrong about the difference between the two in vapor.
this atty puts out as much as the fogger.
what sets it apart is the flavor....definately more flavor than the fogger.
you just have to fill it right and its on like donkey kong!!!!
i will have to try and put quad coils on this thing. no doubt it will be able to have enough juice flow.
id say its a definate buy
