Like I said, I have no problem with the simple yes/no I am/am not over the age of 18.
To enter a birth date just to brows or see prices is a little much. A disclaimer can be viewed within the simple Yes/No box.
I understand and have no problem with entering my age if I were to place an order, or to prove I am over 18.
But just to enter the site and compare prices/products is a bit much, that's all I'm saying.

I mistyped the other day and it took me to a cartoon site. Being on dialup, I wasn’t amused. Took me forever to get back in.

I had no idea there was even such a thing as dial up anymore lol. Brings me Back to when I was about eight!

I forget which vendor did this, but they asked me to send me a photo of my drivers license to them before they shipped it. I sent it on a Monday morning and the package was out by the afternoon. They linked it to my account so I never have to show proof of it again. I thought that was awesome! They were doing the right thing IMHO.
Now that I think of it, I think this is required by law in the state of New York. But still....I had no problem with it.

Next thing you know people won't have to pump their own gas... by law... Awesome!

Putting in my DOB is not a problem but if they go to sending a copy of photo ID I have a problem with that. Not because I don't want to send it but because I have no way of doing that very fast. I can't just take a picture with my phone as most people and send it from there. It would be a long drawn out process that might or might not work for me. Yes, I know I need to get updated technology but vaping gear is higher on my priority list. I don't use a phone except to text so I don't see a need to upgrade it.

No, you're thinking of New Jersey, the ultimate Nanny State:

You aren't allowed to pump your own gas.

Possession of syringes (even without needles) is illegal without prescription.

One of the first states to ban vaping wherever cigarettes are banned.

They do sell everclear, though....

Hell I use to wrap the best cabbage leaf cigar you have ever seen! I was only about 10 when I made my first corncob pipe, and I always made sure that my dad had clean ashtrays. So lets not fool ourselves, there is no way to prevent kids from being kids. Being the frugal kid that I was, I would have never bought an e-cig anyway, I would have just made one. AND ......... lawmakers are kidding themselves if they think their own children couldn't make theirs if they were so inclined.

IMO, education is the answer to underage use, not a bunch of laws that can't be enforced anyway.

I kinda wish they all did this given how the whole minors thing is near the core of the issue for our collective opposition. As the law requires ID at B&M (or at least ought to, according to many), why not have it be law for online purchases where age discrimination matters?

Also, just wish to note, that I'm of the extreme minority of vapers that wishes all ages could vape. As that is unlikely to occur in my lifetime, then make the age verification as full proof as possible, IMO.

I COMPLETELY agree with this. A little off topic, but no tolerance alcohol laws are horrible. In Michigan, if a 19 year old has a single beer, gets pulled over, and is asked to do a breathalyzer they get a DWI. No questions.
I like the idea previously stated to not require ID for online purchases. A majority of teens don't have any plastic to purchase online. I had a debit card when I was a kid but it was only used for gas and my parents were monitoring my transactions (as they should, to promote good money habits. It worked for me!). But that will never happen, so its just good to get ahead of the FDA and do it now.
It may be wonky logic, but its MY logic:p

We need to start a collection to get Flamingo an Internet cable connection. ;)
Does dial up still give those tones when trying to connect? Ahh the good old days.

Yes, you still get dial tone, then all those weird tones AND, as an added bonus, loud static between the tones. It's just weird when we go someplace with Wi-Fi and the laptop connects without any noise or fanfare at all. During the 10,000,000 post thing I made one quick comment, hit post, and was five pages back by the time it loaded.

You can't pump your own gas in Oregon either. You should see how fast the lazy attendant can get to the pump when you jump out of your car and start pumping it yourself. :D

Gas stations have to hire 4-6+ more people to run a station up there and their gas is still less expensive than it is in California. :(

I will say this though, Oregon is beautiful and worth visiting even if they think you're too stupid to pump your own gas.

The thing about Oregon is that if you flick a .... out the window of your car you don't need to worry about a cop seeing what you did, the guy behind you will turn you in.

Back in the day ..... I would collect beer bottle along the 1 mile walk to the country store. It took 17 beer bottles to buy a pack of cigarettes. I always thought it was funny that a coke bottle was worth 5c, but a beer bottle was only worth a penny.

Digital camera, scanner or any other way to get it on a computer and email it. It doesn't have to be your camera or scanner.

Sure beats having to snail mail a scanned copy to Big Tobacco just to get cigarette coupons (because they didn't give an email address to send it to, at least the small ecig shops probably would give an email).

Yes, I know but you have to HAVE these things for it to work.
