No. I believe in transparency. I went through an internet phase of being a militant grammarian once. Fortunately, you are not in that club, in spite of your critique of the gentleman in question. Your grammar does not qualify you for membership in crazy-grammar-folk nuttiness. Also, tossing an argument out for bad grammar, while exhibiting same, is not full of win. Never attack someone online for their grammar/and or spelling. It ain't right.

LMAO! ooooh big words there. do we feel better now?

Not everyone has English as their first language and to attack someone for their lack of proper grammar or spelling is totally out of line. It is not that difficult to understand what was said/meant in PRBoy's post.

It seems pretty obvious to me that if someone is going to respond to him, they at least owe him the courtesy of trying to understand or at the least, asking him for clarification instead of abruptly shutting him down.

PRBoy, I understood what you were saying, and I agree with you. It is too bad that not everyone is tolerant and patient.

pffft!!!!!

little wonder people breeze out of this forum just as fast as they blew in. then again, i was warned.

Previously, you said you made your point and were walking away from this one, after insulting the grammar of a foreigner. Then, you come back to say things like "oooh, big words" and make vague generalizations about how people breeze out of here as fast as they breeze in and that you were warned. Then, you give someone the raspberry!? It looks like you are looking for conflict. I'm just trying to understand your rationale here, because you're actions are hard to understand.

What I find is interesting as far as people breezing in and out of this forum is the fact that when I scroll up and down the list of supplier subforums, the number of online members in most ranges from 0 to 5...V4L's subforum is always in the double digits; it is usually 20-30. So, seems we are not hurting for friends to talk to.

I spend a lot of time on ECF. Probably way too much time but that's another story. I have never seen anyone on the V4L sub-forum attack anyone because they had a problem or an issue like I have seen on many other sub-forums.. I have seen a bunch of caring people try to offer help and show empathy for what the person is going through. That is the way it should be. The people on this sub-forum are amongst the best on ECF and I for one am very proud to have the V4L banner in my sig.

The few times, very few times, that I've seen V4L outright attacked I've seen the wagons circle and the "family" pull together to try and stop the attack before it gets out of hand. And that is also as it should be. V4L treats us all well and they go above and beyond when needed. We should do the same for them. I know I will and anyone that doesn't like that is just in it for themselves and really don't care what happens with anyone else.

Englisj R my primary language and is to be from mostly 50 yeerz. Somday I hope to master it too! :p

BTW, I believe that understanding the person goes beyond their writing imperfections. (mostly I just can't type) I believe it's understanding who they are as a person as well. For example, along with being a thread killer, I am very much a smartass. To know me is to love me (I hope), but at least please don't let anything I post offend ya!

Perez-uzza to this day
A big pet peeve of mine is when I see someone post in a supplier forum and comment about some other product and then they get reamed by somebody telling them not to comment about other products or suppliers because they are in a sub-forum meant only for comments about the specific sub-forum supplier.

I saw a post where a guy was looking for something that was out of stock and asked if there were other suppliers that carried something. Somebody chewed the guy out, told him to have some respect and realize he was in so-and-so's forum and not go talking about other suppliers.

I saw a post here in the V4L forum about V4L's Nobacco and also about Tasty Vapor stuff. Somebody chewed him out for talking about Tasty Vapor in the V4L forum (it was NOT somebody from the V4L team who chewed him out, it was some forum member/zealot).

Most of us use multiple products and suppliers, and I for one prefer the V4L forum over the general discussion forum because V4L stuff is sort of the foundation for my vaping, so I can get better info on all products. If I'm using someone else's mod I want to know how it works with my V4L juices and cartos. If I'm using someone else's juices I want to know how they perform in my V4L cartos. If I'm using someone else's cartos I want to know how they do on my V4L batteries...etc, etc, etc.

Anyway, it may be that some vendors want a totalitarian forum of highly censored postings, but I don't get that sense in this forum. If I'm in a forum and I get the sense that it is highly censored or controlled (Totally Wicked for example), then that is my last visit to that forum because I can't trust the forum info any more than I could trust a PR release.

The comma should have come after the (I hope), not before.
