I beg to differ Jack Boots -- 70 PG does very well sub-ohm. :D

Jack Boots,. I'll take it.

How low is/are your builds? I've tried quite a few A+ liquids at below.....let's say 0.7 ohms. A lot of them (also why I used the "general" caveat in my post) tasted one-dimensional. The most recent was Jungle juice. Hot blast of an indeterminate flavor, maybe tobacco? Then I dialed the watts considerably lower and all was better. :D

I rarely purchase 70PG Ahlusion, mainly because I drip and.....well, I tend to follow their recommendations for best flavor and vapor production. You have the PG experience, so I defer to you. :)

Cool. The juices I tried were at 0.6 and 0.5. The sweet spot for me is between 1.2 and 1.5 ohms. So, I'm a little out of my league speaking about sub ohm builds. And now I'll shaddup about it, LOL.

I don't know what "tropical" tastes like, unless it's a sweaty Samoan (don't ask).

Like the umbrella drinks that were very likely consumed right before this happened. It's a coconut vape with other components. Description for this one is pretty accurate. I love it, got mine all VG, so it's a slow steeper.

A unique and complex blend of our creamy coconut, banana, pineapple, sugar cane, vanilla, and important spices with a fine mint (not menthol!) follower.

What's an important spice?

And how minty is the mint?

It tastes like a tropical coconut vape to me, maybe not the greatest description, but it's umbrella drinks all the way. Can't say that I've detected any particular important spices or mint. It's kind of like KFC, the spices are secret, but it still tastes good.

Mazinny, I think your thoughts are interesting. Nobody knows, bottom line. It's only natural to wonder and even speculate. I don't want to lose my favorite vendor, and these are worrying times, that's all. We all care about the future of Ahlusion or we wouldn't be here on the thread, and that includes you, too.
I've been reading back a few pages and I don't see anyone giving you a miffed reply to your posts. I do notice that you might be getting a kind of "cold shoulder" in that you aren't getting a lot of feedback, is that the feeling you get? It may be ruffled feathers, or that some of the people here may be uncomfortable with that line of discussion and choose not to respond. You don't seem to be attacking Ahlusion at all, just speculating on some possibilities that may or may not come to pass in the future. But for now, that goes in a big circle because we just don't know anything for sure about that yet. So we prefer to talk about the juice, we know about that at least. And it's not all unadulterated praise, by a long shot.
What a boring place this would be if we all just agreed about everything, and had the same personalities like a bunch of cardboard cut-outs! It takes more than one ingredient to make a great recipe, right? We all should be able to speak our minds rationally, intelligently and politely. And you do.
That's my opinion. Hopefully I won't get frozen now! (Just kidding.) Peace.
Thanks Mia.

No, I don't feel I'm getting the cold shoulder, unti now anyway, now you gor me paranoid :)

What I meant was that it seems that sometimes when people perceive some criticism toward Ahl business practices in my posts, the response seems to be along the lines of, oh well, Vlad knows best, I'm sure he knows what he's doing, we might not get it, but it's beyond us mortals ( slight exaggeration here !) ...

A little background, unlike most of you, I didn't have the benefit and good fortune of growing up in a democracy, and as a result I might be reading too much into it, but some of the adoration for " the king" and "the wizard" etc... comes across as a little over the top. I grew up in a society were people were taught to read into any comment to sense an implied criticism of the supreme leader, and that any attack on the supreme leader, is an attack on all of us !

It's very difficult for me to type on my phone, but I just wanted to post this clarification !

hmmm I missed something. I sincerely hope I did not discredit anything you said. I certainly did not mean to. I firmly believe that anyone has a right to say what they want be it in favor of AHL liquids or not

What i think may happen, is not necessarily what i wish to happen. If Ahlusion is setting themselves up to be purchased by big tobacco, clearly their strategy would be different than if they are planning to make a go of it as a stand alone company. That goes without saying. Anyway my point is if Ahlusion were to expand their customer base from 1000, say to 75,000 i don't think they can customize to the extent they do. You might disagree. It's all good :)

Everytime i speak honestly about my feelings re Ahlusion flavors and/or their business strategy, i seem to ruffle some feathers here :) And i don't mean you Chanel ! just a feeling i get.

I really don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but i don't think of Ahlusion as infallible. It's getting a little difficult for me to post anything but unadulterated praise for all things Ahlusion and i feel i have to make a choice between hurting someones feelings and censoring myself.

It's a shame to, since i think Ahlusion is a top notch vendor with some excellent juices, a majority of which i liked and a few which i will continue to order, and it would've been nice if i could ask for feedback as well as give feedback, and exchange opinions about the company generally.

I received an order from Ahlusion about 2 weeks ago and I have been steeping them for those 2 weeks. I tried them again yesterday and they still don't taste anything like what they are supposed to. I am still getting a perfume taste and smell from the Winter Wild Wood and no menthol taste at all. The Orange Nocturne is the same (perfume tasting and no chocolate but a tad bit of orange) and the Mocha does not even come close to what Mocha should taste like. How much longer should I let these sit before I finally give up and just trade them away?

What ratio did you order? What are you vaping it in? It sounds like these aren't going to work for you. The Mocha and Orange Nocturne should both be ready now unless you ordered with high VG. I'm sorry they didn't work out for you.

Weird because I spent $27 for three flavors and did not get any sample!

Did you request one? You also have to make sure that the flavor you ask for is available as a sample.

I use LR cartos and usually have mine on 3.9. If I'm using my Nautilus with a 1.8 then I keep it around 3.6. I've never used mine lower than 3.5.

Your setting depends on the ohms of your carto, clearo, or atomizer.

Thanks Mia.

I don't think anyone has a problem with anything you've said. It's just that some of it doesn't relate to Ahlusion. You compare Ahlusion to other online vendors but they aren't a regular vendor. Ahlusion is a major wholesaler and the online store is just a small part of their business. What I meant in my previous post is that we don't know about Ahlusion's business model so it's impossible for us to talk about it. I don't like to speculate about something I don't know.

We don't have a leader. Yes, we do consider Wlad to be a wizard of flavor creations! There was a job posting on the old web site for a flavorist at Ahlusion. The list of requirements were a mile long and included a PhD. They don't advertise and aren't on any forums. They would prefer it if we would stop talking about them. Lol. We've tried to stop but it just didn't work. Which is all why I say that Ahlusion isn't the same as most vendors.

We talk about and recommend many other vendors. Ahlusion isn't the only company that makes good flavors. If someone is looking for a particular flavor you'll see lots of places recommended to find it. If you contact Ahlusion they will even refer you to another vendor. I don't know of any other business that does that.
