I have won some small juice contests, but I have not been following contests like I did when I first joined ECF. These big contests get so many entries, then they random draw from posts for some winners. Geesh, from 2pm to 6pm today the smok contest was 60 pages of "stuff". I can't post enough to compete, but I post when I can. Can't win if you don't enter!

So today I loaded up my sample of Yin & Yang. I tested it when I first got it and was, well, ?????? After about a month, this is FANTASTIC!!!! Not something I could vape all day, but very nice. Not too sweet, orange tones are pleasant. I am NOT a custard lover, but this I can do. Very well balanced, not too sweet, but creamy and delicious!

I am happy to announce that this shingles thing is definitely on its way out! Rash never got bad and is healing neatly. Pain is much less. And with less pain med, I can enjoy my vape (and everything!) a lot more.
Life is good. Just feeling like I can take a deep breath without wincing is great.

Glad to hear the Yin Yang has come around...need to go back to mine and try it again. I did load up a juice I've had sitting for several months but had forgot about and I'm in love! Pear White Tea is just absolutely amazing! The pear is awesome of course, it is Ahl's pear after all, but mixed with the white tea just gives it this sort of mellow taste, not soft or lacking in any way, but just darn good! I have got to order a large bottle of this soon!!!
Penny, glad to hear you're on the mend. Shingles is no fun...my son had it when he was 9 and it was just awful for him. I'm glad yours was short lived!

i am very lucky. It's really been just two weeks since it started. I can't imagine how awful it must have been for your son! I have been through enough in my life that I could be philosophical about getting it, but a nine-year-old? That must have been really rough on both of you.

Yes it was...we had no idea what it was at the time...when we went to the doctor at the Air Force base here, they were shocked...they had never seen it in anyone that young...they ended up making him a special study case for all the med students! While he was in pain, he did like all the special attention he got! But watching him go through that, I would wish it on anyone! So glad yours wasn't too bad this time and didn't last too terribly long.
Received my first order the other day and have been vaping lemon vanilla cake all day. I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Great even right out of the mailbox. This is a delicious juice. Will be trying the others over the next few days and if they're as good as they smell, they will taste great as well.

This is encouraging to hear about Yin Yang. I got some in Friday's delivery, and it smells good-ish, but definitely not ready to vape. It was one that I took a risk on a 30ml bottle.
So, speaking of Friday's delivery, I came home to a BIG box on my porch. I got a lot of things that are new to me, and totally blew my goal of vaping down some of my current supply before going crazy buying again. My vape drawer is full, my backup/steep box is full, and I don't know where to put it all. First World Problems, huh?
Here's what I got that's new-to-me (and mostly relatively new to Ahlusion): Yin Yang, Sapphire, Rasputin, Alpha Centauri, Chai Latte, and some Canyon Sun for my step-daughter. I may ask to try it before I hand it over. I also got her some The Ron Effect, that I've tried before, but only a sample. Also got some Xpress BVC (which I liked, but thought was a bit mild, until I realized how great it is to mix with things!), and big (reorder) bottles of Peach White Tea and Hawaiian Sun. If I'd known how much I would like Boba Coffee, I'd have ordered a big bottle of that, too. Next time. And I got some Gold Member, which I tried a long time ago, and have been wanting again.
And, @Bukket5 , I finally got a sample of Pineapple Cream, sweetened. I've had it unsweetened, and even have a 30ml of XPress of it that I only use occassionally. It really is way better sweetened. When this is gone, I'll probably try adding some sweetener to the other one.
The only one of my new flavors I've tried (other than the sweetened PC) is Sapphire. It definitely needs steeping, but I mixed a few drops of well-steeped BVC into it, and I can't stay away from it! @Sirius , that might finally be the blueberry you've been looking for! That combination seems to bump the blueberry in both of them. It has the mellow, rich (but too mild) baked blueberry flavor of the BVC, bumped up by the bright tartness of the Sapphire. Yum!
Hum, I have some BVC amd Sapphire left I will try mixong them and see. I know BVC adds a brightness to LVC (thanks @Mr Mann)

After finding AHL in Dec 2013 and loving them, I ordered weekly. I vowed to keep my system in place, a system that I thought worked well for me. Anything I liked I ordered and had a rotation of things steeping. Within a few months I had many many things to choose from, all with 6-8 weeks steep on them.
THEN
A year later I had too much juice, some still very good but some in need of finishing up. Was then stuck vaping things, like 28mls of things, that were good but I would have rather been vaping something else.
This brought me to a no buy for a few months, then a seldom buy.
NOW
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Staurday morning and am stuck waiting for my 60ml bottle to steep. It has 3-4 weeks to go....

Stacked on a 35% sale, that's 48% off. But I have 13 Ahlusion flavors I haven't even tasted yet and over 500 ml of older, non-Ahlusion juices that I have to finish. But it's 48% off.

The painters began prepping and painting inside my house today. I'm having 6 rooms painted, and a jillion hideous old drapery arrangements replaced. I will be SO GLAD when this enormous undertaking is finally FINIS!!
