Do you know if you can wash the coils in the iSub G? Someone had posted that there are coils you can get for this tank that are washable.
I won one of these in a contest and no one ever said anything about washable coils. The guy sent me a link t where I could buy coils and they were not washable

If you set your Coolfire to wattage, you'll never have to worry about voltage and resistance. Just pick a low wattage setting (like 8-10 for a standard atomizer or 15-18 for a subohm one), then start turning it up till you like the vape.

If you use voltage, the numbers mean nothing without doing the math with the resistance of the atty. Wattage makes it easy. If you change what's on top of the mod, it automatically reads the new resistance and delivers the correct voltage to give you the same amount of power.

There is no right or wrong amount of power -- just what you like and what you don't. If you experiment with wattage, you'll find a range that feels right with whatever type of atty or tank you're using.

OMGosh, thank you so much. I got them yesterday and I haven't even tried them because I wasn't sure what to do. I'll set them both to wattage and start at 15 since both tanks are sub ohm. I can adjust it from there.

I have been researching then since I got them and I have not found anything about them being washable either. I did find that there are washable ones for my Nautilus though. Let me know how you like it.

GlacierBabe- I've had my Cool Fire IV for a couple months now and love it! I had a used istick 20w before that and a Nautilus Mini. Love the way it feels in the hand, the on/off switch on the bottom and it's not overly big. I use the iSub regular (plastic) and G tanks on it at 23 to 25 watts with about all my juices; seems to be my sweet spot across the board. Most of my juices are 50/50 or 70vg/30pg. I haven't had any issues out of the mod or tanks. A 5 pack of coils for under $10 is what sold me on those tanks and they were recommended to me from several people. The coils last a long time for me as well. The Nautilus worked good on it too but I enjoy more airflow now. If I had to do it over again I wish I could have started with that mod hands down; although it wasn't available at the time. It being so easy to use and plenty of room to grow with all the different tanks, IMO its a great starter mod. Enjoy!

Hey, this is a heads up to this group only. Please don't go spreading this all over the place!

NJoy.com has the Vapor Shark rDNA40 mod (with a high-amp LG battery included) for $129.99. But when you log into the site, you'll get (or I did anyway -- last week and today) an offer for 40% off your purchase. That makes the mod just $78, which is an amazing deal for a really well-built TC device. It's the new version of the DNA40 too, with the large, easy-to-read screen. Even if you don't care about the TC feature, as I don't, it's a terrific mod for that price.

Again, please keep this local.

the rDNA is my daily driver. Love this little baby! I rock it with a subtank mini. That's a great price!

Thanks for all the congrats, everyone! It DOES feel pretty great! I smoked for almost 30 years before I tried vaping, and frankly didn't ever think I'd be able to quit. These things were like a miracle to me! The first year, my biggest challenge was finding eliquid I really liked, but I started ordering Ahlusion almost two years ago (I think I'm about a month shy of my 2 year Ah-niversary), and the rest is history!

Even though I bought one a few weeks ago I went ahead and bought another. No such thing as too many back ups eh? I just realized this will not come with the shark skin like my other. I will have to get another skin because that makes so much easier to hold and not drop

Well I just found a juice to put in my tank (unfortunately not AHL, still waiting for those) so I'm going to give my new mod and tank a virgin try tonight. The cost of the replacement coils were a factor for me, too. I was a bit shocked at the cost of some of the single coils out there. Under $10 for 5 was certainly appealing. So you prefer the Coolfire IV to the iStick. I got 2 of those as well with the Nautilus tanks. I did notice the difference in the air flow channels between the two. The Nautilus just has those holes and the largest one is not very large. I hope it will be enough but I still feel good about the tank. Thank you so much for the review and info. :)

Yeesh, take a small break from the online vaping scene and come back to a foreign language. Kids today with their poodle fluffing and mud rumping :D

Almost out of Ahl, looking in to see if any new juices are being discussed. I saw Mann mention King Pin, which according to the site isn't that new but it must have slipped under my radar. I like that unique flavor profile type on occasion. From my last order, Rick's Request ended up disappointing me. I LOVED it for a couple sessions, but then for most the bottle I found it dull and uninspiring. I wonder if I only love it fresh, I may pick up another bottle to find out. Winter Wild Wood surprisingly had legs for me, appreciated it more each session.

I ordered from ITCVapes on Labor Day and been sampling since yesterday after a few day steep. I'm enormously impressed by this company. I didn't know such well crafted juices could be got for that cheap. These are the types of creamy vapes I've been craving, and just spot on to my preferences. Milk, Custard #3, Puddin #9 are home runs. Spoon Licker OG and V2 are grand slams. OG is like Mother's Milk but much better strawberry. Just started on Mach 10 and the coffee has a very similar profile to Ahl's Kent's and JG, ie delicious.

ITCVapes was recommended by a few people I trust. The uber cheap price point had me skeptical. I think it was in this thread was the recommendation that moved them up, so whoever that was, thanks! (Lois maybe?).

Ok tried my mods tonight with an order of 6 nic juices that came in yesterday. I know I should have let them steep but couldn't help myself. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Eleaf iStick 40W and I love the Nautilus tank. I really like the Coolfire IV but the iSub G tank not so much. I have been unable to vape this mod. First, I can't get the juice to fill the coils, the result is a constant dry vape. I read and reread the instructions, took it apart and made sure it was correctly put together and I tried different wattage levels. The ony way I can vape it is if I drip on the coils. I am very disappointed in this tank, particularly at this price point. ( I know this part is off topic and I apologize if it offends anyone but so many of you have been so helpful to me about the mods I wanted to let you know how it went)

I placed one more order to AHL last night. I sucked down my bottle of Cantal-Berry so I grabbed a 30ml while the sale is going on. I also added a couple more samples:

Pineapple Cream
Strength: 6mg
VG/PG: 30VG/70PG
Sweetened: NO

Cantal-Berry Ice
Bottle Size 30ml
Strength 6mg
VG/PG 30VG - 70PG
Sweeten No
Mint -or- Menthol No Mint or Menthol

Drewdles
Bottle Size 10ml
Strength 6mg
VG/PG 30VG - 70PG
Sweeten No

Crescent Moon
Bottle Size 10ml
Strength 6mg
VG/PG 30VG - 70PG

F-B-18
Fijian Nights
Bottle Size 10ml
Strength 6mg
VG/PG 30VG - 70PG
Sweeten No

It's going to be like Christma around here LOL

LOL...Welcome back Jerms. One new one since your last visit. "Pure Apple"
@jrenae4 has that one I think but hasn't commented on it yet. It's Apple so I'm sure she adores it.

I have a cold so I haven't gotten to try it yet :( Dinner last night tasted like soap. UGH. Every time the weather turns I get this sinus thing going on.

@Jerms thanks for the input on ITC. I've wanted to try pudding #9 for ages (that's the blueberry one, I think) but I was skeptical of the price point. Of the vendors I've tried in the last year other than Ahlusion, only one stuck and I'm tired of wasting money. I'll definitely give it a try and look at the others you mentioned as well.

Of all the Ahl coffees so far JG Blend is really the best, most flavorful thus far...I adore this one and it goes perfectly with Deal Maker, RR, Sahara Blend, or really any of my other morning vapes in REO #2:Jody. I always have 2 going at all times.
This morning I still have Charlie Noble "Pistachio RY4" in REO #1 Jesse. That's one AWESOME juice as well.

I've emptied one of the two 30ml bottles I got already.
Those interested in trying it should ask sweet Jenna if she has a discount code. [emoji6]
