Well, it's not so much about the tea blends as much as it is about that one specific blend. It's very strong black tea. I do love Ahl's teas though. Their Ginger Orange Oolong is so spot on it's crazy. Wait, is that one even still on the menu?

Sadly, no. I blame myself for not buying more of it, as it did use to be one of my favorites!

It think it was much easier to start vaping 5 years ago. The equipment wasn't as good but all you needed to decide in order to start vaping was "cartridge vs cartomizer" (and the threading on your battery -- but there were adaptors so that didn't matter too much.) People who want to start today get dropped into an ocean of choices and have to pick which life raft to grab. Very confusing.

I could not agree more. I thank heaven I started in early 2011!!

I just had 2 different Volt batteries vent in my hand while I was vaping them. They made a loud hissing noise and a horrible ammonia smell came from the bottom.

Yikes! I assume you were using SI's X2s? I still have and occasionaly use my X2s, and they are all about 3 years old . . .

I notice lots of you order the 70VG/30PG ratio. I know more VG means more vapor but does it mean more flavor?

I just ordered the top 2 on your list.

Welcome to you as well Glacier...I know if both of you stick around you will find someone with s similar palate.
I do 70 VG 30PG because high PG often gives me vapers tongue. 50/50 on the rare occasion I order XPress.

Well my lungs can't handle a heavy load of VG. It makes my lungs feel heavy like I can't breathe very well and it makes me cough. I have vaped juice at 50/50 and done alright but I'm a mouth to lung chain vaper LOL so I try to go 40/60 but AHL doesn't offer that ratio so I choose 30/70 with them. I'm glad to know I'm not losing flavor because I can't vape high VG. I just hope those ratios work with me new equip.

I'm also a modwomper... Lung hits but only build coils above .5ohms. That's call womping. lol

GlacierBabe, if you said what your new setup is, I've already forgotten ; my apologies. At higher wattage, I prefer higher VG. I find it stands up to the heat a bit better, and at those wattages (30-40 watts on a .48 coil) I don't chain vape so don't suffer from "heavy lungs." At lower wattages (below 20), I use a thinner liquid - more like 50/50. I have found that my water intake increases with the increase in PG - hard to imagine, given I drink about 128 oz/day! And as I've said, I'm a long steeper, which does seem to intensify flavors. No loss of flavor for me in higher VG ratios. Of course, YMMV

I've been vaping for more than 3 years on the same equipment. Literally in some cases LOL I just had 2 different Volt batteries vent in my hand while I was vaping them. They made a loud hissing noise and a horrible ammonia smell came from the bottom. I use the charger that came with them so they were charged correctly. They went into the trash immediately. I thought it was time for an upgrade. LOL My husband met a guy vaping a Coolfire IV and he told me about it. They man had nothing but good things to say about the unit and he had only been vaping a year. So I checked them out, read the reviews, ask some questions here and decided to give it a try. I won't deny I am a little nervous but I will scour the user's manual and do what you suggested, which is talk to some folks here that I know won't steer me wrong or that have one of these themselves. Everything came in today. YAY!!!

I have the Coolfire IV and I love it. It is really easy to use and the nice thing is that it can be used for both subohm and tootle puffing.

You know I'll get to that one sooner or later.. I still got around 150 flavors to try. It's the old Ahlusionati Two Step. Jumping flavors like a one legged midget in a azzkickin contest Mann. It's a chore for sure. I figure by the time I try all 198 flavors... I'll have 100 or so more new flavors to choose from. lolololol

Last night, when I put the bird to bed and headed off myself, I realized my iStick battery was lowish so I brought a spare with me. (I keep my vaping stuff in the living room but once I go in there, Poeia wakes up, wants to be let out and fed and my day really begins. I try to give myself 30 or 45 minutes before that happens.)

This morning I took 2 puffs and the battery died. I looked around for the spare and couldn't find it. I finally decided I had left it in the living room and went in and started my day. But I couldn't find that battery.

A little while later, I decided to hunt for it. I searched the kitchen, living room, bedroom and, again the bathroom. I thought it might have fallen on the floor and I'd put my book on it. Nope. As I straightened up, I saw another spot. I thought "It couldn't be." But it was. I had tucked the spare battery neatly away in the medicine cabinet.

I thought you were supposed to put things in the freezer when the mind starts to go.

Oh you know me, my vaping can be all over the place depending on the situation..might be subohm at home, tootle puffing in the office (but only if clients are around )...I just do whatever tastes best to me and is right for the situation.

I had a few I trusted that were right there for me with any and all questions (why is all the juice in my new Taifun coming out the airhole?) Yep, those are the ones. I had about 10 of them, one in each color. Down to 3 and I'm not feeling too good about those.

The water thing is so true but I take it as a good thing. Even at 70VG I am drinking about 2-3 liters of water a day.
