I was one of those who questioned if Ahlusion was worth the hoop jumping to become a customer. Well aafter I learned how the game must be played I was able to get an order in as a new customer. The juice arrived very well packed and labled. The sweet Georgia Peach aromatic is very good and getting bettter with age as is the tiaramisu and the other flavors. I got a bottle of Blue Fairy as a free sample and was quite impressed. I will post a more detailed feedback about the flavors after they reach their prime as they seem to be improving as they age. Stu
What are these hoops you need to jump through?....i placed a order today... received a conformation and never recieved another email. Everyone says they get other emails within minutes of ordering. The last line of the email sure leaves the order open ended.... "If your order was declined, no further messages will be sent out. Thank you again for your business."

Hmm, looks like I will indeed need to drive the 1.5 miles to go sample some of these juices myself! They are just down the road =D

Lucky! I have a sister that lives on Grand Blanc road, very close to Ahlusion. I've often considered asking her to visit the store for me; I cannot get home fast enough to place an order. My Ahlusion wishlist has grown, so I'll succeed soon. I've tried blue grass burley, desperado, smooth criminal and devil dog. blue grass burley was my favorite.....

Did you ever receive another email? I am in the same boat as you, ordered this morning, but not sure if I was "accepted".

After reading through the 13 pages of this thread, I feel very secure in my decision to go with Ahlusion this time around. Since I'm a new vaper, there's a lot of sellers to wade through and read/watch review on. I know my tastes with food, and I don't care for too much artificial flavorings, so I've (rightfully) assumed the same things in terms of vaping.

My first ejuice I ever tried, a month ago, was from my local B&M. It was sadly lacking, but got me to completely stop smoking cigarettes, so for that I thank them! Then I ordered the sampler pack from Five Pawns, along with a myriad of selections from Pink Spot. Now... on to Ahlusion. My order will probably be finished/shipped this coming week and I'm very much looking forward to it :)

I ordered from them- took 3 1/2 weeks to get my order and it was wrong. Sent an email asking about order because it was unvapable and no response. Bye!

That's too bad, they've never gotten an order wrong with me and the only time I waited on shipping was during their move when they warned of it on the site. Usually their very good with email replies too.

What flavors did you try? At least they'll be easy to find a new home for.

Oh no! I am so sorry . . . that is so TOTALLY unlike Ahlusion! :(

When did you make this order? (Not recently, I hope.) There was a real bottleneck going on late last fall -- but the failure to communicate is completely not like Wlad and Ally.

Oh well -- as Jerms indicated, you should have zero difficulty trading them to someone else. :(

I found them early too. Don't forget to give feedback. Over time they will build a flavor profile for you if you do. You'll notice the juice get a little better to you each time out. After a while your (insert flavor) won't taste just like someone else's.

Sorry you had a problem. They are one of my favorite vendors. Surprised that you didn't hear something back. Not making excuses but I do know they had some server work done recently and lost some e-mails. I got an undeliverable message on one about 5 days after I sent it.
Some of their juice takes longer to steep than others but looking at your info, I can see you probably already know that. At least like Jerms and Ms. E said they will go probably go quickly on the Classifieds. OOPS- Double post

I love this vendor. I love their business model, I love their customer service, I love their product, I love their communication efforts, and I love that they work with every single customer to find their preferences. And all of this for a decent price, I think.

I've had issues when ordering, but nothing too extreme compared to some places I hear about on the threads. I just make sure I am there at 8am, and I've not made it in time before, trying to order as early as 8:30am, only to get the "We're closed" sign. But, I think about it like this: There's a German bakery that makes the most outstanding breads and pastries. You have to get there early, and sometimes, they sell out of many items. Most of the time, they sell out of their most popular items. But, their products are divine, worth the line, the wait, and the inconvenience. Ahlusion is not wal-mart, they aren't a convenient store, and they protect the integrity of their product by not offering flavor shots, I think. Don't get me wrong, I like flavor shots, in some juices. But, not every juice can withstand that modification when we have no clue of the exact recipe and the tweaking that it took to create the well-balanced juices they sell. That's what they have - very well-balanced juices with ingredients working in harmony. But, they do, in an indirect way, offer the option of flavor shots with the personal flavor profile.

I know I have been frustrated too as a new, beginning customer. And I am still working my way through the choices, providing useful feedback, and understanding just what kind of vendor they are (my first purchase was in May, I believe).

It's worth it and I can't imagine anyone thinking it's not if they take the leap of faith and try them out. I read that someone had an issue with a wrong order that took a long time to arrive. I don't blame someone for their frustration there, but I truly have only heard of that happening one other time. Mistakes happen, that's part of life, right?

The best thing about them, I think, is that they don't cater to a small fan base while ignoring the new people who are also curious. I know this has been my experience anyway. I have heard of and seen and experienced first hand those vendors that will leave you out in the cold if you are not a part of that fan base. I really like this company. They are straight forward, honest, consistent for the most part, diligent, and not looking to be like many other vendors out there. I respect that.

Okay, I've ranted enough; sorry for all that, but I really like this vendor (in case it wasn't obvious). :)

* P.S. The only juice I have been disappointed in is the Ron Effect. I let it steep for a month, and now it's a completely different juice. Mango Lassi is truly manna from heaven, and Smooth Criminal knocks my socks off.

EDIT ~

I wanted to add their positives:

1) Great, well-balanced and complex flavors. Unique, but not bizarre flavors.

2) A changing menu so you don't get bored with their selections

3) A free 10ml sample with $20 purchased. As someone else mentioned, that size of a sample is rare and is more like a free bottle than a free sample. You choose your sample flavor, too. They don't just randomly toss in some unpopular flavor or one that was made however long ago and they are just getting rid of it that way.

4) They package their items well. This may not matter to some, but they do well in this area as well. They ship in a box, not a padded envelope. so your juices won't get destroyed in the shipping process. I like the Ahlusion sticker they put on the outside ziplock - okay, this is corny, but I like the added touch.

5) I love their website. It's easy to navigate for the most part, well thought out in design, the pictures match the flavors well and are aesthetically pleasing (another corny point, but I've seen some websites that provide a visual queue that makes me not want to order that particular flavor), they have the wish list option for future orders (This is a fabulous feature when you are trying to order - just create the list at your convenience, then click and pop those items in the cart when you are ready to order them), and if you create an account, you can put items in your cart and they stay there for a bit that I know of, at least - not sure how long). They also have the DIY mixing app which I hear is one of the best out there, though I can't attest to that since I am not at the DIY stage yet. My only wish here is that they would provide better flavor descriptions. Vague descriptions are difficult to interpret and make it less likely I will order that flavor unless I have a word-of-mouth recommendation.

6) They have useful information on their site about juices in general. As a newcomer to vaping, that has been helpful.

7) They offer the XPress line of pre-steeped juices. This is a huge plus to me.

Ok, I'm sold. Now.. I understand their mantra but how normal is it for a new user to get this message while trying to create an account, which is required to even start a wish list? "User registration is temporarily disabled - registered users can still log in." Does this message go away when the store is open for however few minutes each morning? I really want to become a customer but I do have other things I have to be doing at that hour. Kinda frustrating..

It varies... sometimes they're open til 3PM edt, sometimes noon. One thing I've noticed is that they will quit on the hour. I had a cart and almost ready for checkout at around 1:58PM and they closed at 2PM before I could get to checkout... that's my experience, so it may vary...

It helps to have your wish list ready to 'put all wish list in cart' if you happen to be there when they're open.

So, to clarify, will the ban on new account creation be lifted automatically when they are open? Or is this something separate as to let them service existing customers, and they allow new accounts at their whim? Pretty hard to make a wish list if I am not even allowed to register as a user. Been trying for days. Thanks for any clarification. I'm excited to place a hefty order but the site doesn't exactly elaborate on "how to get in".

You can create an account during store hours.

Perfect! Thanks!
Edit: If not for the knowledge here I'd have passed them by. I'll try to figure out a way to schedule the time to try to get an account going.

Sometimes they're open well into the afternoon, depends on how big their load is. I think they've recently opened another store, so they weren't open a couple days. What flavors caught your eye?

I strongly suspect your persistence and patience will be greatly rewarded. I'd love to hear your thoughts on your e-liquids when you get them!
