I'm not from the great state of Alabama, but (without starting a fight) would like to say RTOTA.

Heya Bb!

Hello Everyone.
I have lived in Lacey's Spring near the Arab area all my life. I Work in Huntsville / Madison.
So North Central Alabama is what I call Home.

I Switched to vaping from a classic tobacco pipe (And Analogs) in mid 2011.
(I miss the guys down at the Humidor Pipe Shop)

I use a classic PT LEO with DC LR cartos exclusively. (I tried the clearomizers but they just didn't do it for me)
I've used the LEO from day one so it has been cool to see the development from the attys to the cartos and clearomizers, plus the new power off feature batteries.

A bit about me:
I collect and restore Air Cooled VWs for ONE of my hobbies. (Last count I think we have 23 Bugs Buses Ghias ans other VWs)
I have a technical background in electronics, computers, data communication and networking.
I love mechanical things, electronic gadgets and generally geeky gizmos so vaping fits right in.

I hope to share ideas and gain from the forums here.
Hope to hear from Y'all soon.

I love my LEO
Steve J

Thanks CES and Foxman.

I have put a few VWs together in my days. (Not to mention taking them apart. LOL)

Haven't had much time or the funds for it lately. But it is one of my biggest thrills to get an old bug (or Ghia or Bus) out of the weeds and get it running. Just last year we (My two brothers and I ) bought a 1960 bug that had been sitting for 30 years and got it running in two weekends. (Videos - The "roadrunner bug" first test drive after 30 years - YouTube and part 2 The "roadrunner bug" first test drive after 30 years pt2 - YouTube ) It's not ready for the road yet but it does move under it's own power now.

By the way Foxman how cheap is Real Cheap? Not that I can afford another one for my collection but ya never know. Sometimes we can't pass up a deal. LOL
(Not that you should quote a price in an open forum. May be PM)

Gotta love the fun times in an old VW.

Thanks again for the kind words.
Steve J

Hi Wind and Welcome aboard the Bama Vapers.

Sure Foxman would love to see them.

Here are a few shots of some of the bugs from the collection.
The grey bug is still in the family.

The Coke bug we sold at BugaPaluza in Chattanooga TN last year.

The Two were re-united at BugaPaluza this year.
(The guy that bought it said he was going to "Slam" it and he did.)

Love to go to VW car shows and see all the cool VWs.

Sorry I don't mean to make this thread all about VWs.
Have a nice Vape!!
I Love My LEO (And my VWs)

Etowah High school, middle school, or Curtiston? I live about a 1/2 mile south of Curtiston. So good to know some vapin' folk are so close! Is he also a vaper? Sure makes me wish we could have a meet & greet in or around this area. Even if it was as far as B'ham I'm sure I'd go.. just hate driving in that place! Any brick & mortar stores around my area that you know of? Does he, or you, do any DIY e-liquid? I'd love to be able to learn how (in person) from someone experienced!

Hey Bama Gal

we go have a get together coming up the Friday before memorial day! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...irmingham-vape-meet-memorial-day-weekend.html Hope you can make it.

We have a local vendor (Vulcan Vape) who's been selling through a few locations around town. They'll be opening an official store front very soon. I've only met them at the meets they sponsored (nice guys) but i think Fox goes to their office fairly frequently

I think Sammy T and Dragon DIY there juice. I get mine from EC-Blend. You can make up your own juice thru there web-site. There an American juice co and there the cheapest vendor I've found. I get 50ml of my FoxMochaNut for 17.00 including shipping and it does me a whole month, lol. You can make any combination you want. My mom graduated from Emma Sampson way back when.
