Lol, blueberry buckle recipe is mine....might need a smidge of additional blueberry but I can't add blueberry wild there, which when I re- do will add some with blue extra too...sweet cream tones down the cinnamon down some for my tastes....the cinnamon Danish at least v1 tastes much like a "popular" ecf vendors "grandma's" version. Will post vanilla malt impressions, hope maltier than malted milk

Ah, Mr Mann likes too....and more reason we need biscuit back!

Luckily when BCV had it in last I bought two bottles. I am down to about 3 mL of the last one, so I definitely use that flavor. One could easily replace it with FA Cookie if need be, but the percentages would be way different (much lower for Cookie).

10 ml Cinnamon Flavor Extract If it still doesn't work. Google madvapes Cinnamon Flavor Extract.

Nice, thanks. For a whopping $1.79? Man, you're breaking me here. LOL. I think I can find a reason to try this, but the recommend 20% is on its face laughable. Recommended percentages can be so goofy. Fingers crossed that it will be spice rack and not candy aisle. :D

Andria, have you have the Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble before? It's pretty low on "crumble" and could use some Biscuit, but only a little, but that flavor is jammin'! Great in conjunction with Blueberry Wild from TFA. Oh, and one reason why BCC is so nice is that it has more of the ground cinnamon spice taste vs. that awful cinnamldehyde cinnamon which is so omnipresent in cinnamon flavors!

I know, I get that cinnaldehyde is in cinnamon, but it's faint vs. being concentrated in a liquid -- grinding cinnamon bark never tastes spicy, as in hot spicy (at least not fiery). I've always wondered why cinnamon concentrates that are paired in desserts/sweets tastes more like cinnamon you'd actually bake with, yet the flavoring companies seem to only sell 'red hots' cinnamon when it's a standalone. The closet to ground cinnamon I've found is TFA's Cinnamon Spice, but even that one has too much eugenol (IMO).

No, this is a new one for me (the BCC); when that thread started and I read all those recipes, I was *just* about to place my order at BCV, so I ordered the 5 Capellas that figured in recipes that caught my eye -- plus the sweet cream of course; I think I need to start buying that in 5gal buckets! :D Or 16oz bottles at the very least. :D

I like both kinds of cinnamon; I agree, they're very different, but I've always been a massive sucker for both Cinnamon Redhot candies, and REAL (not store brand!) Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Poptarts. :D I'm glad that these are the baking kind though; I've still got some Cinnamon Redhot from Killer-juice (they make they best Redhot!!!), plus some cinnamon redhot flavoring, I think it's Signature/TFA, so some baking cinnamon is a good addition!

I've got some Clove something or other around here someplace, but I discovered that when I smell that, all that comes to mind is the dentist's office, very unpleasant association, so I can't deal with Clove flavors.

20% was way high for me. That recommendation was probably introduced back when cigalikes were only available. :D

If you can't deal with clove then you may want to hold off on Spicy Biscuit (if you were even interested). I love that flavor, but it is kinda strong in the clove department, even though I don't think that is the only spice.

And maybe I was being over the top about cinnamaldehyde as I don't mind it, but it gets annoying that it seems to be all that I can find as a standalone. Making a fiery hot blueberry muffin would be no bueno for me. LOL

If you don't mind me asking, what would the percentages be?
I'm putting a spreadsheet together so I have a starting point for percentages and track which ones I like and don't like.

I've only made a few juices and some were OK and some not so OK, I think I over flavored them but I really don't know how much to use. I've read so much that some are much more concentrated than others but haven't read much specifics.

Thanks

I use INW Biscuit anywhere from 1-2.5% depending on the recipe, but with FA Cookie I use it at no higher than .5% and sometimes lower than that (like a quarter to a third of .5%).

Yeah if it's strongly clove, it's not for me at all. What about ginger? I'm wild for that; ginger snaps have always been a big favorite. Not so much on gingerbread; to me, ginger snaps are snappier not just in their crunch, but their "bite" -- they almost burn your tongue.

Question about BCV....I see warnings on some of the TFA and Cap flavors but not on the other brands at all. Are all the other brands flavors diketone free or does BCV just not mention them?

They only post as they get the info, so the only definitive thing about what is posted is the ones that *do* have it. The ones that don't have it are unfortunately mixed in with the ones that they just don't have results from. So some flavors will skate. It's constantly updated as more info comes in, but INW is a little up in the air and Hangsen seems to be safe, but it's a guess (but a safe guess. LOL). INW is likely okay, but don't take my word for it.

As has been tossed around in the INW thread, there aren't a lot of the "usual suspects" in the INW lines; none of the creams, anyway. There's the 2 biscuit flavors, and probably a couple different vanillas, but none of the custards and creams.

The Biscuit is a weird one as it does have a buttery note, but I give it a pass since its like a twin to FA's Cookie. But like with twins -- even when being and looking identical -- one will be the 'hot' one (I'll take Biscuit home with me. LOL). The general caution still remains as we've seen with some of Capella flavors like the Raspberry that had diketones and the slew of FW flavors like Kiwi and Watermelon (to name a couple out of the many) that have Acetoin. FW and INW are obviously two different companies, but I think it's still telling that buttery notes, even when just acetoin, show up in countless non-buttery type flavors. I know I am preaching to the choir, but I figued this was a good place to ramble about it..

They do seem to stay right on top of it, though. I had checked one, and it didn't show the caution bg -- but the very next time I looked at it, like a week later, it did have the background. Not sure which one that was, I think one of the FW flavors; maybe the FW Cinnamon Danish.

Yeah, way more than ECX which really has no consistency or apparent desire to dig deeper. But, for sure, BCV is on top of it and they do push to the manufacturers to reveal more! I try to order from them whenever I can, and sometimes I'll even wait it out-- but Eliquidmart is my choice for sampling Capella and FA, 'cause you just can't beat $1.69 for a 5 mL..

What about WizLabs? $1.49 for 8ml... or is that just for TFA flavors? I love the little glass vials, they make excellent bottles for small test amounts.

Andriad,

Congrats, and thank you, for your angryvaper web site. I love the name !

Yeah, I really need to get back to doing something on that; I've been so DIY obsessed, there just never seems to be time. Maybe now that all the holiday insanity is over. :D
