I apologize if this has been asked previously,

It is my understanding that the Simplicity's 510 connection is non-adjustable; however, has anyone managed to find a way to perform any type of adjustment no matter how slight such may be?

The reason I am asking is that I am unable to get my Igo-F to fire to save my life. I finally managed to set-up my Igo-F in Genesis mode and would love to use it on my Simplicity.

Thanks in advance.

I have not heard of a way to adjust the + pin. Most mods will have a slight gap when connected to the simplicity. It doesn't bother me personally.

I'm thinking you could probably use a 510-510 adapter to make your atty work. Might not be pretty but it would be functional.

Nope, no way to adjust the center pin. Any adjustment would need to come from your atomizer if it has that ability.

Another option that was mentioned to me a little while ago are those little circuit board spacers that madvapes sells. They fit right down into the mod's connector and will give you that extra little bit of length needed for an atomizer with a connector that's not quite long enough

You, LadyMaMa and I are apparently the last people who use the occasional 801. Now you're making me want to go put one on a ShockWave. That would be different.

Hmmm that's not a bad idea.

I wonder if there is some way to add some wick or filler material into it so it can keep a larger amount of juice in it. I know with my dripping habits I still have trouble hitting the right balance and usually end up with some overflow or the occasional dry hit.

They have a huge bridge, I'll bet if you could get in there you could thread something through. 801s are an adventure! And honestly, the best one has ever performed for me is on the T1 with the adjustable draw. When I tighten it down about halfway it makes a difference...until it floods. :)
I think I'll vape that tomorrow!

Maybe you could go the "bonut" route? Your post reminded me of that thread

I haven't thought about the "bonut" in a while!
I've been using IKV 510 "cannon" (801 innards with 510 connection) drippers on my p 10440 lately because they look great on it, but I forgot how much different the 801 vapes.

Is that what a Cannon is? I just assumed it was a funky shaped 510!

Yeah! It's an 801 mini with a 510 connector.

I might have to do something similar to the bonuts. I like the 801 but it does flood too easily for my liking, which is a bigger pain in the .... when you have an adapter on it.

Only thing I can think of would be to increase the size of the insulator on your atty, as to allow the post to stick out further and reach the Simplicity's post.

WOW! my switch fires with anyhing more than a carto and plastic drip tip. i love the switch though and have gotten use to locking and unlocking with one hand while driving lol

I added more springs (couldn't find a single, stiffer spring in the same size) so it stands without firing (thanks AJ!), but it is still a soft touch to fire.
