The center post on the Simplicity is the same fixed, solid, no leak design that we use on the Precise/PrecisePlus line for over three years and we've never had a failure with that design. We don't want to get away from that sort of reliability on the Simplicity, so you will have a small gap as you do on some of the PrecisePlus's depending on what tank/rba you have on there. Some rebuildables do have an adjustable post that allows for adjustment and you can adjust them down. Not to mention, we will be making our own completely integrated feeder/rba for the Simplicity down the road.

Why can't a 510 atty, Joye etc. be the default flush fit? Most all RBA center pins are adjustable, I can't adjust my HH, Joye and Ikes. Just wondering as I scratch my head with my credit card.

I agree! I think David should stick to his guns and have the post depth be 510 atty spec. But don't fret too much, a 510 iken (which is what I'm using this afternoon) has an acceptable fit.

Ya, that's pretty close but not "OCD" approved!!! thanx for the pic. Hows your HH 510 look on it? I know you got one  Oh ya, I don't have a problem with David sticking to his guns with 510 spec., It just seems like all the the pics I've seen with a 510 atty on the Simplicity, seem like they could be screwed in another mm. I'll buy one no matter what but, I would use it with HH357s' 90% of the time and don't wanna look at the gap. Maybe an optional center pin depth in the future??? :2c:

I've been following this thread for the last few days, have not seen anyone comment on battery life? Never had a 14500 size mod, so I just had to ask?

I picked mine up from the post office last Friday at about noon, on my way out of town. I had 4 freshly charged 14500's that I dug out of my vape cabinet. Returned home Saturday about 7pm on my last battery. Battery life is actually not bad. AW IMR 14500 mah

Not much to say, really. 14500 is a fairly small battery, so doesn't last all that long if you're used to bigger battery mods (maybe 1/3 of the run-time of an 18650 of the same brand and chemistry in my experience). However, the benefit is in the form factor since it's small and easy to carry around when you don't want to draw the attention that a bigger mod would get.

I carried mine to work today, Penelope with a 2 ohm coil on top. Vaped about 2ml of juice (commute is 35 minutes each way, plus two short breaks at work) one one battery, brand new and freshly charged AW IMR. Performance was noticeably lighter on the ride home than it was in the morning, but still performing well enough. Metered the battery when I got home and it was 3.79 volts.

Take from that what you will :) ultimately, battery life will vary greatly from person to person. It all depends on what you're running on top, the age and quality of your batteries, how heavy you vape, etc.

For me, today I started vaping it with a freshly charged *old* battery at 2:30, with a 1.8 ohm 510. It's now 8:30, started to peter out awhile ago but it's still making vapor. Not bad. I think it's going to work with me tomorrow. The Simplicity is an excellent device! Good looks, easy peasy to use, foolproof.

Agreed. Now if I can only reverse the cosmetic damage my wife did :\

After unit #37 shipped, i dropped the center pin another 5 thousandths(so first day orders only, if you ordered on the second day, your pin should be .005 lower), . I can find out thru what order number that was and press your pin lower if youre one of the customers who got the higher pin, no charge and we'll pay the return shipping too.

The problem you have is trying to fit all the various manufacturers out there, none of them can agree on what length to make their connector so you have to compromise a bit. With the .005 drop, it should now be about a flush fit with a standard 510 atomizer.

I don't know how these are put together, but is it possible to get another brass piece to change out with the bruised one, and any other part damaged?

Spare parts will be available in the future, right now we don't have any for sale. Nothing can really be hurt on it, just knicked up if you drop it, did you blemish something on yours?

Anyone else get just a little bit of sticking with the button? Mine doesn't do it all the time, but mostly if my finger is towards the edge of the button I'l get just a little "stick". Sometimes I can push past it, but sometimes I have to let off and re-position my finger.

Also, does anyone know of a spring I could use to make the throw a bit stiffer? I stretched the stock one as much as I felt I safely could, but it's still a little light on the throw for my tastes.

Otherwise, I love my Simplicity! Love the finish, especially with satin or matte finish attys. Hoping for a shiny version in the future though. Absolutely no miss-fires (except what I mentioned above), and it hits very hard. I love the small form factor, perfect for out-and-about. And, it just looks sooo classy. :)

Have you disasembled the switch and taken a peak inside to see if anything is in there? Maybe stretching the spring has caused it to bind off to the side a bit i would guess if you don't find any debris in there. I have thought about sourcing some stiffer springs as an option, just like i have an optional stiffer srping for the Precise Line. I'll let you know when i do.

I haven't got one yet, I was just wondering in Nach's case, where his was dropped.

I did take the switch apart and gave it a good cleaning but it didn't help, will do it again tonight though just to make sure nothing got stuck up in there. It was binding before I stretched the spring - I actually thought the stiffer throw might help in that regard. :)

My wife dropped mine on concrete the first day I received it. There's an ugly nick in the brass ring and several matching nicks in the button at the same location. Purely cosmetic and doesn't at all effect performance.

I will; however, second the "drag" on the button much like The Yeti reported. If it doesn't get fired straight up (as in pressing the button from the edge of it) it'll give a tiny drag. Almost feels like some sort of "child-safety" mechanism like on a Bic lighter.... just have to press a little harder. But for me it was just a nitpick. I only mentioned it because I saw the other post referring to it.
