I am a new vaper, and I have tried Luci, Green Smoke, White Cloud, and V2. They all leave a bitter aftertaste to me. The V2 is the least offensive. I get dry as a bone, and there is a burning sensation afterwards. I can still taste it in the morning sometimes and I hack and cough. I get sores on my tongue and gums, and they also leave a film on my teeth. Don't get me wrong I still like them, they give me a head rush, but I hate the nicotine taste. The Nicorette gum always tasted the same to me, BAD! Now, I am not really much of a smoker, only in times of stress. I also have a very acute sense of smell/taste. I just thought this would be better for me when stressed and I don't have to smoke out in the hot garage!

Anyone know why this is? I have since gone to an eGo and can only smoke 0 mg VG.

Good morning fellow Ohioan! I'm not familiar with the juices you've referred to but, some vapers have switched to vaping 100% VG/organic juices to avoid some of the side effects that are sometimes associated with PG/VG juices.

Check the following out: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../230347-negative-reaction-pg-based-juice.html and http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/82222-organic-e-juice.html. Also, be sure to read any reviews posted on ECF to find out others' reaction/appraisal of various organic vendors' juice(s).

ms58...Welcome...EVERYTHING you described can be to two thing...first, could be nic detox symptoms BUT, the biggest thing is DEHYDRATION...vaping takes a tremendous amount of water out of our bodies and you need to significantly increase your water and fluid intake...significantly so...try it and see if your symptoms are not alleviated...remember, all that vapor you see is water vapor and that water is coming from us, not the PV..........

YES!!!! Like pepper, but remains the next day, and the day after. If I puff heavily on 18 mg. in an eGo the next two days I am hacking and I have to quit for 2 days. I am a stress smoker only now. I gave up smoking 5 yrs ago, but would smoke at my friend's house. Really HATED the taste. When I went home again, I would give up smoking again. This last August my husband broke his neck and rather than start drinking again, I picked up smoking again, then heard about e cigs. But really can't stomach the pepper taste/dry mouth/sores on tongue, etc. But too much invested to give up! I can vape 6 mg., no more. Things have calmed down here, so I am more or less content to vape 0 mg.

My opinion? Try switching to VG. It sounds like you're having the same reaction to PG that I do. I hate the aftertaste of PG and it's way, way, way too drying to me. I've been recommending Virgin Vapor liquid to everyone because I can vape it all day with no dry throat, no nasty taste, etc. She uses all organic flavorings and will custom mix VG/PG blends for you if you so desire.

Good luck! :)

What flavor do you recommend and what strength nic do you normally get? And do you get 100% straight VG, or mix them?

I really do recommend any of the Virgin Vapor liquids, but I have a special place in my heart for any of her milkshake blends. Also, the Caramel and Espressos are awesome. If you dig menthol, the Vanilla Mint is to die for, as well as the Butter Cream Mint.

I'm a zero or x-low nic vaper.

Also, I would try a couple with 100% vg and then a couple at half/half. She has a good variety of sample packs so you can try them out before committing to the bigger bottles.

But to answer your question, I do the 100% vg.

You mentioned several vendors of juice vendors and didn't like the taste of any of them. I wonder if you are suffering from a dry vape that is consistent with poor juice feed to the atty. Are you getting a small amount of vapor from them and a harsh taste?

You might benefit from a try at dripping into the atty just to see what it is capable of producing. 100% Vg juices are not known for producing great taste, but they produce large clouds of vapor, more that you would ever get from a tobacco cigarette. Maybe a 50/50 blend of PG and VG would up the taste and get you into the zone.

Juices and vapor vary widely as you go from 100% PG to 100% VG. On the 100% PG side, taste is great and vapor falls off a little, depending on your PV. Although VG juices and cartomizers don't mix well, I'd suggest that you order a box of Boge 510 cartos and some juice with more PG content and see how you like that combo. The Boge cartos will give you lots of taste and aroma with good vapor on an Ego.

I also agree with water intake. Vaping can dry the mouth, especially since vapers spend more time on a PV than tobacco smokers do with a cigarette. We are more likely to carry it around and vape like a smokestack.
