Since I apparently can't read maybe you could consolidate all of your posts into your response to this post so I can find them easily. Or perhaps a more direct response would be appropriate, for those of us that read through most of the thread but wanted to offer an opinion on a specific post without rereading the entire thread. Or maybe I overlooked your post(s) that you are so nicely pointing out to me.

I don't go to Chili's so I don't know but if you're saying that because you saw it in Chicago, they got an indoor use ban.

To be honest, I've never even eaten at a Chilli's. Buncha processed food, but that's besides the point.

Find a restaurant that lets you vape. Maybe a small non chain one. Otherwise, stay home and cook or get take-out.

I go outside like a smoker

Interestingly, last time I went outside a place to vape, I didn't HAVE to stand around with the smokers, inhaling their smelly smoke.

I stood in a little area behind them, with a group of other VAPERS. To be honest, I don't mind it, I enjoyed the comraderie of "fellow smokers" when I smoked, now I enjoy the same little circle now that I vape.

We had some good conversations (not about vaping, but about the play we went to watch).

Last time I vaped with smokers I felt ill. It was at the Airport at Atlanta, which has smoking lounges. Had a 4 hour layover, but didn't want to go through security, so went to a smoking lounge. I was just using a Triton and I didn't think anyone even noticed I wasn't smoking a cigarette...

No one has the right to inflict other people with residues from their habit, whatever that habit is. When I was a smoker I was pretty militant about losing my right to smoke cigarettes, until I actually quit and realized the awful stench that I was forcing non smokers to endure.

Those that insist on their "right" to vape indoors or around non vapers will accelerate laws and rules against all vapers, including tax issues. I wish people weren't so pushy.

As far as this ANTZ silliness, whats that foolishness about? Is it one of those US vs THEM things? If so here's some news for you>>> THEM will most certainly win that pissing contest. There are way more of THEM's than US's.
As far as studies go there is no long term hard science on the effect of vape clouds and health. Anecdotally, wasn't there a thread here recently with people complaining about vape RESIDUE on the inside of car windows?

Most people, including me, really have no desire to have clouds of cinnamon danish/blueberry whatever blown in their face.
A bit of respect for others personal space will go a lot further than all the cute acronyms and card carrying sisters in the world.

My boyfriend and I have vaped at our local Chili's with no issue. However, whenever we are dining out we always ask our server if it is ok first, and then we try to be somewhat discreet. We do not try to blow huge clouds, and we do not blow the vapor in the direction of other diners.

I don't know what the law is in Florida but around here smoking inside a business or within 25ft of the entrance will het you fined. However vaping is at the discretion of the business owner, as smoking should be imo. It looks like the sign is aimed at smokers and vaping is an afterthought. The company is trying to cover their own ... since anyone not aware would loom at the exhaled vapor and assume your smoking. I highly doubt they would say anything if you were subtle about it.

I use e cigs, but I am not going to deny the reality that we are using products produced by a country with some of the worst industrial health and safety regs. in the world. Who knows what corners those guys cut.

We are using e cigs to get off of real cigs, which is great, but lets not try to fool ourselves and others that what we are doing is anything more than a crap shoot. No need to put non vapers in the same boat.
If supporting a ban on public close encounter vaping makes me an ANTZ then so be it, I'll buy the t-shirt. To do anything else is just being a narcissist.
