alpha corrosion?

Hi, I'm from south korea.
I used alpha for almost 3 month now. I love it.

Unfortunately..I broke my RES stone today...
and I found these corrosions inside RES... actually it looks like those coating layers some how seperated.

and I found simillar corrosion like particles inside RES.

Actually when I disassemble RES for cleaning I always found some particle like materials inside, and they makes RES for turning or winding difficult.
I thought these are from stones, but it seems to now.. from these corrsion or seperated layer.

I use it with Irish cream from Tasty Vapors mostly.
Anyone experienced simmilar corrosions?

Hard to say what that is given the small pictures. I suspect it is dried fluid, not corrosion.

I have ordered a bunch of these and a couple of RES have cracked, there have been no corrosion in them as in the picture.

Have you tried cleaning it to see if it is dried liquid? Seeings how that is the inside of the RES where all the liquid is stored, it is very possible that it could be dried liquid and not corrosion.

ill try to get a hold of a camera with a better macro mode and ill show you what im talking about. believe me ultramax works perfectly but the corrosion happened in less than 2 mos. how much more in a few months.aside from this everythings doing ok. pics coming soon

Christian, this might be off topic but what kind of juice do you use? I have heard that juices that have cinnamon oil in them can play havoc with pv's at times.

I've had my UltraMax since April, if I remember correctly, and have had no problems like this at all. I'm sorry you are having problems with it.
