I am a minimalist and I have 5 protanks, 1 RTA, 2 itaste batteries, 2 isticks(they really do last me all day!), 1 Ipv35( too big and rarely use it) plus 6 ego-style 350 and 650 batteries. I use the ego style batteries at work, they fit in my pocket better. It really is good to have back-ups. The 350mah last 4 hours, maybe. Good luck and vape on!

The most efficient mods I know of are 18650 battery powered. An 18650 will typically last a year or two in rotation and only costs $10 or $12. You can carry a spare 18650 and be good for all day at heavy vaping levels.

I know that people like slim ecigs, but you sacrifice some power in the exchange. If size is an issue, the Eleaf iStick is a great alternative, uses an internal 18650 2200mah battery, and will charge off the USB port in a vehicle and be usable in passthrough mode while it's charging.

Yup welcome to it! You really need at least another battery for backup. I had 4 ego batts, then moved to single 18650 devices now moving to parallel 18650 devices.

More juice!

Honestly when I first started vaping I relapsed to cigs a lot when my battery ran out while I was at work or out and about because I didn't have a spare.

When I first started vaping I wanted something that felt kind of like a cigarette. I bought a Joye 510. It was a mech type vape in that it depended on the battery voltage to produce a vape. When the battery started losing charge you could sense it in the vape. The kit came with two batteries that charged in an hour and a half, so you could constantly charge and switch and never be out of a vape.

Later on, the variable mods came along and I bought a Provari V2. Suddenly, I was able to charge several 18650's and always have a backup. Yes, it was way bigger, but also variable and could boost the battery voltage to get a 4v vape when the battery was draining past 3.5v. I also found out that once I got used to the larger size it began to feel just about right. The Joye 510 began to feel like a toy.

It still does the job along with my iStick. The iStick doesn't have replaceable batteries, but it vapes while it's charging. That's really a plus when you are out driving and can plug it in and keep it charged all day.

Be careful of those thoughts,
I started with a couple ce4's and an ego battery and thought "I'm gonna need more of these"
I now have......
1x istick
1x mvp2
1x spinner II
1x ipowII
7x nautilus minis
16x aspire et-s
1x kayfun clone
1x magma clone
1x eleaf lemo
40+ bottles of fluid
A full kit for diy fluids (but I'm not allowed it until Christmas Day )
And a box full of wire, cotton and other gear for rebuildables,
Oh and a bad case of shineyitis!

:) Been there and done that! I have boxes of hardware and mods that I seldom use. If I had read all the reviews early on I might have been able to get by with less cash outlay.

Wait! Those reviews were what made me think I need one of each of those things I never use anymore. At least I'm good if one day it's all outlawed. ;)

Really, all I need is a couple of RBA's, some Japanese cotton, a roll of 28ga Kanthal, some batteries, a charger, and a couple of good VV mods.

Yeah - this is going to get out of control quick. :)

I already have DIY juice supplies, and I did multiple experiments today. I also have a Kanger EVOD on order. :)

On the second charge, with my current DIY, I'm having more fun than I should be having. It's really running perfectly.

I sure hope it all turns out safe, because I have a feeling I'm going to dive in deep.

My rebuilds are for home, the n minis are for during the day at work, I drive for a living so I don't have time for refilling etc so I have a few tanks so I can swap flavours on the move, the istick is my daytime battery, the ipow is my emergancy back up, the mvp and spinner are in use by the other half along with 3of the n minis

sitting unused are one MVP two 1300 mah and 1600mah Vision Spinners, on Innokin VV, two eGo T's and three protanks ..ready to pass on to the next friend that wants to quit.

yeah it'll get out of hand and soon *lol*

I did my research I thought I was well prepared when I made my first purchase. Being sure I would have backups and not "be without" while quitting the cigs, I got 2 vv batteries, 2 tanks for changing flavors, extra coils, and 3 bottles of juice. I was going to succeed in quitting this time!

Only if somebody had suggested I change the tanks on ONE battery when changing juice instead of switching to the other tanks and battery! I think it was about day 3 that both batteries went out within 15 minutes of each other. BTW, that was when I had my last cig.

You folks have planned this all out very carefully. :toast:

An old phrase my staff Sargent drummed into us in basic training "REMEMBER THE SIX P'S" (yep he shouted it every time)
Proper
Planning
Prevents
P**s
Poor
Performance

Always have your main set up, an emergancy back up, and a back up back up just incase!

Got caught 1 time with a dead battery and no back up. The extra charger cord I had gotten recently was bad.

On my break I ran over to the B&M where I got the bad cord. They replaced it and they were kind enough to let me take one of the tester batteries as a loaner while I left mine there to charge til my next break.

Back ups, back ups, back ups...
