Wanting to venture out again and try some new juices. First order along with a shipping notice, a little disclaimer...

"Remember our e-juice is made to order the same day that it ships so please remember to steep your liquids for at least two weeks. The longer you steep, the better the flavor.."

Am I being unreasonable at saying, you steep it when I get it I'm ready to vape it? Can they not mix the flavor and base then add the nicotine upon order?

It's a common practice. Most juice companies do not pre steep their juices, it would create an inventory mess. I've gotten juices and tried them 4 days after order upon reception and they have been good, but they "always" get better with time. You just need to stay a week or so ahead of your own inventory and order before you really need it. Good luck.

IMO, For the "standard" nics ratios you are NOT being unreasonable.

There are Several companies that DO pre-steep and don't have some whineyass excuse like inventory why they can't. At least when they DO pre-steep they can be A LOT more sure that what they are sending their customer IS what they Intended to send them. I almost cannot believe ITCVapes let this bottle of SL V2 I just got leave their facility like it is now.

The only really valid "excuse" a non-pre-steep company can IMO legitimately get away with is to say, We pass the cost savings of not having to maintain all that inventory down to our customer. (At least I Can say that ITCV appears to do just that with their prices.) What those non-pre-steep companies Are saying Loud and Clear to me is that reduced cost and convenience To Them is worth More than ensuring their product is as it should be when it leaves their facility.

Everybody says they have no problem with steeping but with the exception of vintage wine or spirits, I can't think of a single other Consumable that Anyone buys that they Have To hold on to for two weeks to a month before they can use it.

It Everyone was so cool with having to steep there wouldn't be more companies pre-steeping.

My current go to currently is halo menthol-x, just thought I would try something new. Menthol-x seemed fine straight from mail box.

That's cause Halo pre-steeps their juices.

My very first bottle of juice, about 4 weeks ago, was Halo Menthol Ice. Had I found out then that I needed to wait 2 weeks to use it,
I would have been quite perturbed, especially having spent $20 for 30 ml at the local B&M.

FWIW Belushi, IMO, Halo has their Menthols down to a science. My Menthol vape is nicer than my ciggie Menthol was. (305 Menthol
was really pretty nasty. Cheap, but nasty.)

When you buy at a b&m though you have a good chance of buying liquid theyve had for a min. Depends how fast they move product and how large they order at a time and if they follow first in first out. Ive bought a bottle that was like 8 months old. I know because there was a bottled date right there on the bottle. I think all eliquid should have bottle date on it

I don't buy a bucket of chicken to stick it in the fridge for 3 days before I eat it thinking it will taste better. I buy food because I am hungry and I buy juice because I need it and want it to vape now. I only order from companies that are pre steeped and ready to go FOOB.

Thanks for the input on this, doesn't sound like I'm entirely alone. I'll do this every once in a while, start feeling I'm getting ripped off paying for the premium juice, try some cheaper options, then realize I'm wasting more money trying all these other options. Maybe I'll hit it this time. :)

In terms of the inventory thing, I've heard this before, not sure I buy it. Maybe they just need to cut down on the number of flavors they carry. Make what you are good at, define your business, monitor your inventory. You can't be great at 50-100 flavors, at some point you are just starting to mix whatever. You send me whatever and it is crap or I have to wait a month before it is not crap, then I'm not going to come back and try what you are good at. Just my 2 cents...

It's easy to find pre-steeped juice, but you'll pay more for it. Personally, I'd rather spend my time. I have plenty of cabinet space.
No, it's not a fine wine (though some vendors adopt that pretention). Think of it as the difference between buying take-out and buying groceries to cook at home. If you're willing to pay more for the sake of convenience, more power to you. If I'm willing to shake and wait, more money to me.
