IMO, you're not being unreasonable at all. I agree, I am not a fan of "the journey". I don't like the idea of having to set an e-liquid aside and forget about it for a few weeks (or even a few months if it's a custard) before it's vapable / ready to be consumed as intended.

I chalk it up to vaping being in its relative infancy. I can't wait for the day when the notion of steeping being a necessary part of vaping becomes a thing of the past. Hopefully that day comes sooner than later.

I think you can count on it.

It's a Glaringly Obvious area needing improvement.

I saw that some new seller is sonicating theirs for 2.5 hrs before shipping. See? Like THAT. How damn difficult and time consuming
can putting the bottles in the bath for 3 hrs be?

One final illustration. Let's say your new vape juice business was on Shark Tank. I would bet you that if you told them it was suggested
that Every customer Not Use the juice for 2 weeks after Paying for and receiving it, the Sharks would tear you to pieces.

So write a month old date on the bottle when you fill it?
Happy customers

I even did a thread about the one shop around here that has some major brands. The one good thing about them being a crappy
store. A lot of the juice in there is Months old. I just got a bottle of Moon Mountain that was made last October.

Yes it is ridiculous that these juice makers can't steep their stuff for weeks while filling thousands of different orders at different nic and flavor strengths and carrying a hundred different flavors. And then on top of it, they want to charge more than 10 bucks for a 30 ml bottle with a fancy label on a glass bottle.

There's nothing wrong with paying someone to store your e-liquid for you. People pay for storage all the time. Knock yourself out.
Similarly, there's nothing wrong with a vendor giving me a discount if I want to store it myself.

And on that miserable day some of you unaccountably long for, when government intervenes and juice price soars, I'll be making it myself. And I'll still be steeping it. And I'll be saving even more money. And I'll be so very, very happy. Will you?

Speaking of take out chicken- I don't like yucky take out chicken. They steep in all sorts of oils/breading for you. Unknown really. Although it's ready to eat.
I steep mine in a special marinade myself it's cheaper and it tastes better. Not sure if I'd appreciate all chicken being take out... I like options.

Ok ok I'll charge you half and "sonicate" it for you. In my ACME imaginarium sonicaterum 1500.

Pics or it didn't happen.

In all honesty when there's 300 orders going out the door a day and it's so bad your deleting FB comments about how slow you are, I wonder where the sonicating factors in. If the sonicator breaks does buisiness stop? And this happens to vendors without steeping/sonicating, at least weekly around here. True story.

Ok, I'll play. ;)

Looks like someone with excuses to me.

Let's say each order is $20. You're putting half the proceeds immediately back into product, leaving $10 "profit" per $20 order.

300 orders = $3000 A Day.

Freakin' HIRE someone to fill the orders. One person should easily be able to package and mail 300 packages in a day. Say $11/hr.
All your orders are filled for $88 of your $3000 that day.

What Problem other than mismanagement am I missing? ;)

I must say I agree, under certain conditions (most) having to steep my liquid on arrival bothers me too .

I want to TRY it when that vape mail finally arrives!

Sure, I can perfectly understand that vendors cant necessarily provide ready-to-vape pre-steeped juice when there are personal customizations involved. But for their standard flavors and Nic levels ? YES!

I can also understand it when the eliquid is relatively "cheap"....

Obviously no prob at all with it when I make it myself... ;)

BUT what I really DO have trouble with is when I pay 25$+ for some Premium stuff and then have to steep it for...who knows....it's different every time for each juice....one week, two, three, a month, more...???

For those kind of prices I just feel that I shouldnt have to do ANYTHING except open and...ENJOY :) :) !

FFFFFffffffffffffff...guess Im just not very patient ????

Ok, I'll play as well. To have someone (regardless of their wage) both package and ship 300 orders in an 8 hour workday, that would mean they would have to knock out 37.5 packages per hour. To break it down even further, they would have to pull the product from inventory, package it properly, and set up for shipment.....and they would have only 1.6 minutes for each package.

If they had to work at this rate, maybe for a hour, that may be considered reasonable....but to expect an employee to work at that rate for an 8 hour shift, not so reasonable.

I'm just being honest here, so don't take it to heart too much....but my guess is you have never run your own successful business.

I am glad I found vendors I like that pre steep their juice. Granted they only offer 10 or 20 flavors with no customization, but it covers the flavors I want and the mix ratio I want. I don't care if a company offers 200 flavors with unlimited customization if they don't have the flavors I want or taste good to me. I would rather have a company do a few flavors perfectly than many that are not. You know what they say, jack of all trades, master of none.
